I stayed in the hotel for 1 night pre-cruise. We arrived Trieste late at night. The receptionist is already off duty. A day prior to my late check in, the hotel have already sent me a detail instruction on the code to access the building, my room no..... The hotel room is very clean and comfortable. It is also close to cruise terminal ( 5-8 min taxi ride ) The staff is very helpful and the service is good. I stored my luggage at the hotel after check out early in the morning for sightseeing in Trieste. I came back in the afternoon to grab my bags to embark on the cruise. I will highly recommend the hotel to travelers.

The door to the building was locked. No one told us we had to ring a bell to get in. Luckily, a guest from the night before, saw us walking up and down the front of the building and helped us. Once inside, there is a very old small elevator. The reception is on the 2nd floor, behind a door, very confusing. Once inside, the staff was very nice and the room was very modern and clean. Would have been nice to have a couple of chairs. The kettle with coffee, tea and snacks was a nice touch. Walking distance to the main square and close to the train station and the port.

It was difficult to determine where the building was without Google maps. May not appeal to everyone but it had a small town European feel (tiny little elevator).The rooms we had were spacious & newly renovated. Spent 2 nights, easily walked to cruise ship port (20min). Hotel offered luggage storage so we could explore the morning b4 our cruise. Historic tram station very close that takes you up the mountain & back. Very happy with our choice. (Relatively reasonable too)

Overall a great stay. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are clean and the location is walkable. It’s about 5-10 mins to the main tourist area. They even have complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, which was a nice touch.

Out of the way spot, like living as a local in an old apartment building. Small but clean and modern room. Small old style lift with room for maybe 2. Lobby is inside on the 2nd floor and additional rooms on the 3rd floor. Walking distance to the Grand Canal and Piazza UNITA d’Italia as well as the Castello, though you do have to do some stair climbing. Also close walking distance to the train station. Enjoyed the location and stay at Trieste 411.

There were a lot of hairs on the shower wall—a lot! The staff didn't take any action. The towels smelled musty, and a shampoo bottle from the previous tenant was still lying on the floor in the bedroom. There is an elevator, but it is very narrow and hardly suitable for large strollers and is not wheelchair accessible. On the positive side, the accommodation seems very safe and is about a 10-minute walk from the Grand Canal.

A fantastic property, newly renovated and spacious room. Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with large shower. A short walk from the train station and only 10 minutes from the canal and cruise port. Highly recommended.

This wasn’t easy to find and parking is a very long way away, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are about three levels of security to ensure you are in the safest place possible. Julia was particularly helpful.

The room was great. Clean and located near everything. My only issue is the entry into the building. We walked into a dark hall with no indication where we should go. Better signage is needed as this is a building with rental units among the tenants. Someone coming in told us to go to the 2nd floor.

Beautifully apartment which looked like it had been refurbished recently. Clean with a kitchenette,dining area and comfortable bed. Large fridge, and cooking facilities if you wanted to self cater. The doors were secure and the area felt safe. Air conditioning was efficient and quiet. Short walk to the grand canal and plaza unita de italia. Many good restaurants and shops

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The front desk is located on the second floor and you will need to buzz in and either take the steps or the lift. Close to the train and bus station and a short walk to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The very first time, we happened to choose an accomodation, where there was no 24 hour service. The location was OK, but the rest was not. My wife is Italian on Father's side, so there was no language barrier. The heating was running by an air conditioner. We were trying to do our best to make it properly operate, but even after hours of trying, it did not make the room warmer. Then, we took the phone number from the reception and called the person in charge, Giulia. She was giving us instructions on the phone, but we did not go any further. Since it was Saturday, nobody was available to fix it. So we had to wait till morning for someone to come. This is winter, even in Trieste, so room temperature was not acceptable. As Giulia was saying, the house was fully booked, so she could not provide another room. All in all, nobody was managing our problem. Guest satisfaction is above all in any business. Then, due to my wife's native skills, we were booking another hotel, which doubled our expenses, yet it was worth every penny. There was proper heating, 24 hour reception service, kindness and way above average service in every aspect. Dott.ssa Nora V.

Have rarely stayed at such a clean and neat hotel. The room was very spacious furnished with modern furniture and it had a brand-new bathroom Besides, the front of the building had been repainting in a beautiful yellow.

Hotel is in an apartment building on the 2nd floor with a lift. It's clean and lcoated within walking distance to all amenities. The walls were quite thin and you could hear people talking quite clearly outside the room as well as people coming and going which was a bit frustrating while trying to sleep. The facility is also quite strict on check out time.
