Nice apartment but with room for improvement

The apartment is quite big, ideal for two people. The situation is really good, near the city center (it takes only 15 minutes or so to reach the marina on foot).

The hostess had forgotten to leave me the keys in the box, so I sent her a message and she left them afterwards. The apartment is in the 4th floor, but the lift didn't work, and it wasn't repaired during my stay (2 nights). Even if it had been working, the first time you go to the apartment you have to climb the stairs till the 4th floor (with your luggage if you go alone). This would be easily fixed by leaving the box on the ground floor. Besides, there wasn't enough toilet paper (not even a whole roll for 2 days).

Nice location but would not stay here again

Location was excellent

The entrance and lift to the property was very dirty and old. The front door looked like someone tried punching it in or kicking it as it looked damaged but was okay. The cooker took a decade to understand how to work it out. The owners knew it was complicated as they left the original user instructions in one of the drawers, but even with that it was diificult to use. Not happy when hungry to take an hour to just boil water or cook something easy. Because it is like an attic studio I kept banging my head on the many large wooden beams inside the property, which were dangerous!! Ouch!!

Central accommodation meant we could explore lots of Trieste by foot or bus. Great city!

Really clean apartment, with great facilities. Kitchen and fridge was very useful, super close to aldi for groceries. Host was really friendly and gave lots of recommendations for food and her response time was really speedy.

In our room the windows didnt open up to the outdoors, instead it opened up into the stairwell, the room was a bit stuffy becuase there was humid air coming in when we opened windows. But there was an air con which made the temperature more bearable.

Location is great, paid garage parking available. In the heart of the city. Apartment has dishwashing and laundry machine which is helpful. Decently priced considering location.

All windows look at internal staircase. So no actual daylight in the apartment.

Good stay in Trieste

Trully nicely located. Very good price/quality ratio. The hotel owner provided the parking lot in the garage at a 50% off the regular price. (Take the elevator from the parking lot and find yourself directly by the ancient castle - impressive!) Easy check-in/out. Full support from the owner: advises on good places to eat, on local transportation, etc. Individual heating in the apartment: you can set the temperature that you personally like. The apartment is equipped with the furniture, kitchen, washing mashine, dishwasher, refrigerator, hair fan, etc.

All three windows look into the staircase with the elevator. So the apartment is, therefore, poorly lit. We stayed here in Winter and it felt as a drawback. I guess in Summer this would be an advantage.

Pleasant stay in the city center

The living room is large and the kitchen well equipped. The host is kind and she didn't charge me extra fees for an additional guest that was added after the reservation. Wonderful stay!

Unfortunately, the wifi connection wasn't working. We texted the host and she offered to give us an external metered router. We didn't use it but we appreciated her kindness.

Lovely little snug in the heart of Trieste

The location of the accommodation is perfect, it was very convenient to live in the city center, a 10-minute walk from the Unity of Italy Square and other attractions. Even though there is a restaurant in the building, it is not disturbing at all, the apartment is very quiet. We found the keys in a box. We didn't meet Rossella, the owner, but communication via the booking message board worked very well. The accommodation is very good value for money, The next time we travel to Trieste, we would love to stay here again. Trieste is a very pleasant city, with its wonderful buildings, the castle, the park around it, beautiful churches, the beach, the entire city can be explored on foot. We were sorry that it was not possible to see the opera house from the inside, and the tram leading to Opicina was not working, if we saw it right, the line is being renovated.

The apartment has very small windows, so it was a bit stuffy for us. The weather was nice, so we didn't spend much time in the accommodation, so the feeling of confinement was not disturbing. It's nice to have split air conditioning. The boiler is a bit loud when bathing. The sofa bed is not very comfortable, but it is not that terrible either. Unfortunately, we couldn't park in the garage, the street is very narrow, so is the garage entrance, and – because of the restaurant – there were many cars and motorcycles lined up on the side of the road, which prevented us from turning in, even though only delivery cars could park on the street... We stopped on the street while we packed, then luckily we found a free parking space on Crispi Road.

Location Location Location was really good together with the cleanliness of the apartment.

The general aspect of the garret was very tired and little care spent with some details. The two little windows are so little that you can hardly see lights coming thru and you always have to keep the lights switched on. Very little fresh air coming thru the 2 little windows. This is a garret, a top floor with low ceiling, hence is very hot on a summer day and the AC is available only in one room, the kitchen/sofa bed room, the bedroom doesn't have any air con and you must keep the AC on a lot longer turned on to have some cool air in the bedroom, not ideal when it's hot! There were 4 chairs but two were plastic foldable chairs and the other two were outdoor chairs, only 2 soup/pasta plates and we were in three, so not enough plates and we had to use the pan as third plate.

Very good location, clean facilities, nice and clean kitchen and bathroom. Nice communication with the host by messages with a lot of significant directions and suggestions. Strongly recomend parking in the garage,streets are crowded (accommodation is in city centre).

Perfectly located appartement for visit of Triest and places around Triest

The appartement is located directly in the center of Triest with nice restaurants and streets nearby. Everything can be reached by walk. The appartement has enough place for 4 persons (2 separate sleeping rooms; one of them is the living room/kitchen) and dogs are kindly welcome. The kitchen equipment is sufficient for cooking for a family. Parkind direct in front of the appartment is not possible, but we always find a parking place. A perfect location for a visit of Triest and places around Triest.

Great location in the city center and easy to reach. Large room equipped with everything you need including washing machine. Very clean. Uncomplicated host: Keys could be picked up without personal contact (Covid-friendly).

Staircase and elevator are extremely tight because there is not much space in the city center of Triest. Windows of the apartment point to an interior patio but there is no natural light. However, the installed artificial lights in the apartment imitate extremely well natural light. Well done.

Perfect little overnighter!

The room was peaceful and quiet, beds (even the fold out) were comfortable - had a really good night's sleep! The location is just on the edge of the downtown area, already nearby there's plenty of shops and restaurants. The owners were easy to communicate with, easy access to building and apartment.

To be fair, we expected this and had no issues with it, as we only wanted sleep! This is not the only room they have in the building - writing this just to manage expectations of future visitors: The room was in the back of a building, the windows look towards the stairs/skylight and the back of (the worlds tiniest 😊) elevator. So the room is dark, not too many light fixtures or sockets. BUT...

Comfortable apartement

Everything in perfect shape and the space is well used. Comfortable bed and sleeping couch, air conditioning, table, small fridge, stove and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, very nice bathroom with shower and bidet (!). And for extra rent a parking space at a good price! Pedestrial zone and several bus stops nearby makes it the perfect stay.

Maybe a water heater in the kitchen would be nice.
