very central location - short 10 min walk from the station. Decent sized room with a fully equip kitchenette (even has fondue set). Excellent coffee machine (which uses coffee beans). Room was very warm (particularly important in winter)
Situated above a restaurant/bar with only a winding staircase at least to the first level - may not be suitable for those with access issues requiring a lift.

Location
I actually didn’t stay . I have health problems , the property was on top floors in a spiral stairs , smell of food from the restaurant ground floor , noise of workers and clients . The host promise to refund my money as I wasn’t stay but unfortunately he didn’t . I had to book in another hotel so it cost me double

Very central, warm, quiet room with ensuite. Very central and nearby Migros supermarket and bus stops.
Excellent restaurant downstairs run by Italian chef we had a very succulent, fresh Perch.
On the ground floor there’s a welcoming Bar run by Obi who is a bit of a wine connoisseur and up for a chat…in English. Mostly locals.

Old town building, lot of charm, beautiful town view.

The location was fantastic. The small loft apartment had all the amenities we needed. For cozy and easy to stay for multiple nights.

Loft apartment room in old building right in the middle of the old town, a lot of character and well equipped which meant that It was possible to cook all meals. Had one window which could be open which was good to cool the room down at the end of the day. I found this room to be very quiet, not at all distracted by clock tower chiming. Within walking distance of station. Accommodation provides access to the Neuchatel guest card enabling free travel.
Getting luggage up the spiral staircase to the fourth floor - lucky it only had to be done once.

Was at least safe and somewhat comfortable
No elevator so many flights of steep narrow stairs. Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. Also-must be comfortable with remote check in. Bathroom was in need of updating and cleaning. Shower had some mold. No parking anywhere close by.

Very good location. The room is fully equipped. Info about check-in, check-out, internet, etc. were sent well on time without us asking (for some other accom, you needed to chase).
Not exactly did not like, but maybe there is no elevator (might be difficult for others but for us no issue). A bit warm in the room.

The hotel is right in the center of the old town, so it is easy to get everywhere from it.
The check-in was confusing because there is no reception. There also wasn't AC as advertised. Instead, there was a fan, so the room was a little warm on a hot summer day.

No breakfast provided. Lovely old building but room and en-suite refurbished to a good standard. Right in the middle of the old town so ideal for tourists. Very comfortable bed.
Only for the fit, but fine for us.

We stayed in the hotel for the third time, would come again! This room was very cosy and nice, it has everything you need, it's like a small apartment. The location is unbeatable.

A very good place to stay in the heart of Neuchatel.
I booked with "Booking". When given a price for the room, I expect to pay exactly the price that is quoted in the booking. The price was given in Swiss francs and I paid in Swiss francs. However, I just discovered that I have to pay an additional 7 Swiss francs for the exchange rate because the money actually goes to the Netherlands. When the price is given in Swiss francs and I pay in Swiss francs, I don't expect to pay extra for the exchange rate. There is no mention of the additional cost when you do your booking.

Excellent location, easy to find, nice room - sizewise and very nicely decorated, bed was comfy. You have your own kitchenette, coffee machine and a microwave, so you can cook yourself a proper meal if you prefer that. The owners are very polite and helpful.
Too noisy, I couldn't sleep half of the night because of the very loud music coming from the backyard - sounded like a restaurant with live music.
I absolutely loved the place and facilities, but the late evening noise was a problem for me

Location was excellent, right in the centre of town. Despite the location the room was quiet. Check was easy. The instructions were comprehensive. The room was clean and had what I needed.
Blackout, or thicker curtains woukd have made the experience better, but other than that it was great

great location
this is a ‘robot virtual hotel’ with very narrow steps to get to the rooms that was quite dirty feeling. had to contact the ‘person responsible’ to get internet in spite of instructions in the room

The building has character in bags! Fantastic experience. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchenette. Nice decor with lots of conveniences. Quite spacious including the bathroom
- good shower!
Nothing to complain about once you accept that this is not a modern building. Steep stairs but that’s very common anywhere.
