Disappointing
Location
The bar and restaurant were closed for renovation. The substitute restaurant service was nowhere near previous standards. In questioning the origin of the wine, the waiter responded with „I know nothing about wine“. A major disappointment. Jaded would be my description of this previously first class establishment.

Very elegant hotel with excellent staff
Very elegant hotel, staff mostly very friendly. It clearly shows that they want to provide good service and a 5* experience. The suite we had was very large and comfortable. Even though the hotel is not modern, it is very well maintained. We really enjoyed our time here.
All the extras are quite expensive, such as a rollaway bed or room service. Breakfast times are too short (until 10:00) for a hotel in this category I would expect breakfast until 11:00 at least on weekends. Having these tiny soaps and shampoo bottles is not modern anymore. They are annoyingly small and were not replaced. Please upgrade them to dispensers, they are more convenient and produce less trash.
