Our host Christine was a superb prompt communicator, and welcomed us very warmly. The property is delightful very well laid out garden and our room was very comfortable and clean. The location is great and very close to Mount Saint Michael We highly recommend booking you will not be disappointed.

Christine is a very kind and smiling host. She makes the best crepes for dinner, and the breakfast is great as well. The house is spacious and comfy and has nice seating on the terrace and the balcony. Safe parking on the property is included.

Excellent stay. Beautiful B&B style accommodation well equipped for our family of four in a charming area close to Mont St Michel. Christine was the loveliest host who prepared delicious meals, I highly recommend her crepes for dinner. Her dog is so sweet too which added to the enjoyment of our stay!

Everything was fantastic.

Christine is a fantastic host, her breakfast is very good and she is very helpful with information about the area. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was excellent. The location is close to Mont-Sainte-Michel. Christine was extremely apologetic about a noisy guest and gave us a small gift which she did not have to to.

Location was perfect for visiting Brittany and mont Saint Michel. Owner Christine was super helpful. Breakfast was good and on the day of our departure she even made breakfast for us at 7am. We also chose to have one dinner at the house. The ground and garden was beautiful.

I certainly didn't think of the owners as "staff"! The location was perfect - 10km by bike from Mont St. Michel, directly on the bike path. We had secure parking for our bikes, a beautiful, comfortable room and a gorgeous breakfast. What more could we want as our hosts were very kind and generous with their lovely b&b.

Beautiful house, very good location and exceptionally clean. Christine was so kind and accommodating. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. We were only there one night but could gladly stay longer and would definitely return.

There were 2 dogs which we weren't aware of, one small dog allowed to wander around the breakfast room. Expensive for a B&B

A perfectly delightful stay. We spent three nights here and were warmly welcomed into the home of Nicole and Pierre. They very kindly enabled us to wash our clothes and to wash our bicycles. We were for very grateful for this. We had a lovely day off from cycling which we spent relaxing in their garden, both in the shade and at their picnic table. Breakfast was superb, which we shared at a communal table with the other guests. The property is in a great location with easy secure bike storage. It was an easy, pleasant ride on a cycleway from the property to Mont Saint Michel. Thank you to Nicole for her guidance on how best to enjoy this wonderful area of France. 10/10 from me.

The freshly baked baguette and buttery croissants were simply divine, and the selection of cheeses left our taste buds dancing with joy. However, what stood out were the homemade jams that added a burst of flavor to the breakfast experience. If that wasn't enough, the mouthwatering homemade crepes stole the show, and we couldn't get enough of them. And, oh, Pierre's cappuccino was a work of art, perfectly frothy and rich, just the way we like it. Our room was a haven of comfort and charm. Spacious and tastefully decorated, it provided the ideal retreat after a day of exploring the breathtaking surroundings. The view from our window was nothing short of spectacular, offering a captivating vista of the rolling hills and distant mountains. Whether it was a scenic hike in the Mont region or a visit to the nearby charming villages, the B&B's location proved to be a perfect starting point for our adventures.

The place is amazing and literally 10 minutes to the parking of the Mont Saint Michel. We felt like home and the owners provided everything we needed and suggestions on what to visit during our holiday. The room was spot on and superclean! We definitely recommend L'Orée du Mont if you are visiting beautiful Mont Saint Michel and surroundings!

Pierre and Nicole are very welcoming and made us feel like at home. Their place is very bautiful and very close to Mont Saint-Michel, they were very helpful and gave us good advices on food and tips on when to visit the mont and what to do. The breakfast was excelent with fresh products and homemade cakes.

A very nice and comfortable B&B located in a quiet area of Pontorson, but within just a couple of minutes walking from the center. The room and facilities exceeded our expectations and the owners did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden where you can relax and enjoy the sun. There is plenty of space to park your car on the property. We visited the Mont Saint-Michel using the bicycles that you can use for free and were happy te experience that the 10km cycle track to the Mont Saint-Michel was for bicycles and pedestrians only.

Accomodation was superb. Nicole and Pierre were very attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We spent a very enjoyable 3 days here and have already recommended L'Orée du Mont to friends and family.

The hosts were great! Nicole provided us with the best recommendations and advice for our holiday. So friendly and adhered to our requests. The room was better than I expected, beautiful! so clean and had everything we needed. We found this property cosy and comfortable, ideal location for tourists also!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at L'Oree du Mont, Nicole and Pierre were perfect hosts. When we arrived the shutters on our room had been left closed to keep it cool. The room was large and we slept well in the comfortable bed. The bedroom window (juliet balcony) had a fly screen which meant we could open it in the evening to get air into the room without attracting insects. Breakfast was laid out in the dining room and we enjoyed chatting to Nicole while having our continental breakfast including a special cake of the day baked by Nicole. L'Oree is close to the cycle path to Mont St Michel and we were able to borrow bicycles (and helmets) to cycle there, about 10km each way on a gentle cycle path - a great way to arrive there. Nicole also gave us advice on where to go in the evening to eat, and phoned ahead to reserve for us, and then made suggestions on where to drive to view Mont St Michel at sunset - her suggestion was just perfect! L'Oree du Mont sits in pretty grounds and is gated, so secure for leaving cars. When we left Nicole gave us some homemade caramels for our onward journey - they were delicious, thank you!

Everything was just right for us.

The location is great, close to Mont Saint Michel and to restaurants. They have bikes to lend and you can easily go by bike to Mont Saint Michel. Nicole and Pierre are great hosts. We planned to visit Saint Malo as well and they gave us tips of a nice route to follow. I also recommend some time in the massage chair, it's very good!

Nicole and Pierre are the perfect hosts and run the perfect B&B. Nothing comes to mind what can be improved. Their breakfast, with homemade crepes, marmelade, rich choice of cheeses and teas, Pierre's expresso (!), all great! The modern room has an ensuite bathroom and is well equipped with a good bed, blinds and mosquito fence. Their garden is a nice place to chill out in.

We had a lovely stay at l'Orée du Mont! The operaters were very kind and at our service any time. They booked us the visit to Mont Saint Michelle in the evening and the reservation in a local restaurant. We will come back definetely once again. Merci!
