Extended Stay America Suites - Cleveland - Airport - North Olmsted

I felt like I was staying in Delhi, India. The Staff had very difficult accents, even those at the Front Desk. The Room and the Bathroom were very clean. But, the only Ice available was by filling an Ice Tray and waiting for it to freeze; not an Ice Machine in the building. The position of the King Bed was not good. There was only one Bedside Table, so I drew the short straw and had to lay my phone and glasses on the Window ledge overnight. The other issue was that the Blackout Curtains were too long and as they hung above the Air Conditioner situated below the Window, every time the Fan kicked on, the Curtains billowed out at the Bed. This all could have been overlooked, but these guys are really chintzy. If you want an extra Towel, you have to bring a dirty one to the Desk, and as they have no Coffee available as most Hotels do, you have to get one of those cheap plastic Pots and any utensils, Cups, Plates etc., from the Front Desk instead of the Rooms already being equipped. The Ice Trays in the Fridge were so cheap that the Ice Cubes had to be beat out. After driving for 8-hours and arriving late evening, we slept in until about 10am and were up late for rest of out stay. "Free Breakfast" is about 5;30am thru 9am I believe, so they save more money by not keeping that out until 11am or so (which most good hotels do). I paid for my Room in advance for 4 Nights and would have been happy to pay more afterwards for a few of the amenities you expect in an American Hotel, at least to get a Cup of Coffee or some Ice. Overseas, they pinch Pennies and cut corners at every turn; that's how it felt staying there.

Everything was horrible down to the smell of the rooms. There was stuff behind each dresser, under the beds and pull out coaches. We had to have them come and clean the room and all they did was clean the pull out couch in the one room. On the last day they waited until my husband and two sons left my room and I wa say myself to come and ask if I needed service with no cleaning supplies or housekeeping cart. Super weird and dirty.

My stay was delightful and very relaxing. The hotel was clean the room was big and beds are very comfy

Room cleanliness subpar. Mold on tiles in shower. They advertise breakfast included. That consisted of coffee and a granola bar or prepackaged muffin. Simply Suites is right next door. It is only $7.00 a night more and totally worth it!
