I had a good time room just wasn’t up to par

My room smelled like cigarettes heavily and there was no tray in the microwave the dresser door was broke the desk chair was broke it was just a lot but I didn’t use any of it so I didn’t ask for a different room

Standardization of cleanliness needs to be addressed.

Friendly check in staff - downhill from there.

Where to begin- subpar property. Poor cleanliness. Room in disrepair. No comforter provided. Pillows may as well have been rolled up t-shirts. This is not the Red Roof Inn experience that I’ve come to know from this chain as a past guest at other properties. Considering there was an altercation outside our door, we were unable to reach front desk as our in-room phone was not working. We opted to leave the property as soon as we could in the morning.

Bedbug haven

Hotel was very dated and had a musty odor in the hallways. Sheets were stained and I was bit up by bedbugs. Bathroom was OK. Had microwave and nice size refrigerator. Carpet was filthy. Didn't bother watching TV. There was alot of foot traffic outside and what appeared to be an outdoor party at the picnic tables after dark. Front desk was courteous and fast to get a room booked. Heard 2 dogs barking a few doors down all night and a smoker on the first floor near the steps.

It was a nice stay for us.

Brent at the front desk was able to accommodate us in a room on the main floor. Without an elevator, it would have been too difficult for me to carry my husband’s oxygen machine up the stairs. The location was good.

Staff went above & beyond

I locked my keys in my car, and the manager was amazing! He talked with me while I waited for AAA to arrive and even provided a bottle of water and some paper & a pen so I could write down details. So helpful. 5 stars for customer service and just being a great person.

I wish the room was cleaner. The floors and appliances could've used some extra help.

Staff were very happy and helpful, clearly taking pride in their work. The hotel has seen recent investment and everything was in good order, neat and clean where it hasn't been replaced already.

Passable

Breakfast was a pop tart and granola bar in a baggie and a bottle of water. Not what we were expecting, certainly not what was claimed. Also the alarm clock was not working. When I checked why, I found the cord had been cut somehow and the part with the plug was still plugged in to the receptacle, causing a potential electrocution or fire hazard. Staff need to be more vigilant of things like this. When I moved the night table to unplug the broken cord, there was a lot of dust/dirt behind the table.

bed was hard and I had a king size bed with only 3 tiny pillows, that weren’t even standard size. The room smelled of steel cigarette smoke so I went to the store and bought some Febreze to spray the room. I thought I had a non-smoking room.

The location

It caught on fire, the management didn't know how to effectively handle the situation, I was never contacted by the hotel that it was on fire, the room was not clean, burn holes in blankets, hair in bathroom.
