Affordable, clean, no-frills motel.

My room at Motel 6 was clean and the nightly rate was reasonable. The location is within walking distance of fast food, convenience stores, and at least one bar.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the room is "no frills." There is Cable TV and (slow) WiFi, but don't expect a mini fridge, microwave or coffee maker. The lobby does offer 24 hour vending machines, a microwave, and free ice. One other thing: I'm not sure why, but the rooms do not have those "do not disturb" door hangers. Housekeeping will knock on the door somewhere between 10:30am and noon. In addition - at least in my case - housekeeping required me to physically open the door to let them know I did not require services. Saying "no thank you" without opening the door did not work. I was told that I had to open the door.

Location was a bit scary. The condition of the motel was very old and tired. Our non-smoking room was definitely a smoking room.

Conveniently located value for money

The location is very convenient and the rooms are spacious. Bed is also I felt like larger than the traditional hotels. Rooms are clean. Clean towels were provided. It’s a nice motel to spend the night on a long road trip. Safe and you cam park your car just in-front of your room.

Nothing as such but the room floor could have been cleaner. It felt little dusty.

No microwave, no coffee in the room or a small refrigerator. Nothing to hold onto to get in the shower. For older people that is kind of a necessity.

Stayed twice in 10 days and would book again!!

Room was immaculate. Bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. I loved that the bed did NOT have a dust ruffle or those big, dirty comforters. Being able to see under the bed with 2 thin, but warm blankets, tucked in sold me on this motel.

I would have liked to have the option of paying extra to get a small fridge. It wasn't pertinent, but would be a nice bonus.

Couple of nights away

Location is good. McDonalds is next door for coffee and a quick breakfast. Close to the highway.

There are no refrigerators in the rooms. There are no hair blowers, however, they do have some in the office. The rooms smell a little funky. We booked a king room but the TV didn't work. We were moved to a double as there were no more kings available.

I basing my evaluation on other Motel 6 in which I've stayed. Erie ranked at the top with, for instance, South Bend, Indiana.

The front desk clerk who checked us in was friendly and interactive.

Honestly a great little hotel. Def would stay again.

It was perfect for myself, husband and our 10 year old. The room was very very clean. Staff was very friendly. I liked the fact the sink wasn't in the bathroom and there was a ton of space for stuff. The shower had lots of storage to place bottles too. We went to splash lagoon and this hotel is about a 5-7 min drive there. Lots of food places around and since its off the main road, it was quiet outside.

The beds were a bit hard and since they are full size beds, a little on the small side WHICH I actually overlooked when I booked so not the hotels fault. and you can definitely hear your neighbors walking around. Didn't hear talking just nosiy steps. I also wished the hot water lasted a bit longer and it does take forever to get hot but honestly that really wasn't a huge problem.

Good place to rest after a long trip. It was quiet, the room was clean and bed comfortable.

Front desk staff was not friendly. Motel offers coffee from 6-10 but coffee makers were empty both times I went. No fridge or microwaves in the room.

We have stayed at this location multiple times traveling from the north east down to Kentucky/Tennessee. Pleased every time. Staff is friendly, great for traveling with our 2 dogs. Feel safe being there with our kids

Pleasant and totally worth coming back around on my way out West if I can get an awesome rate again!

Everyone was really helpful and friendly from the front desk to my neighbors. Housekeeping especially went above and beyond, volunteering running yo the offfice for me when my card key needed re-magnetization while I was frazzled trying to find my work and get my old dog ready for a walk. Despite being cold weather during my visit, grounds was pretty well-kept and premises felt pretty safe!

I was surprised there was no fridge making it hard to keep some of my food from going bad (but I couldve researched more ahead of time!). A couple of times, there was other dogs' poop on the premise, but it wasn't enough to ruin my experience and glad the place is so pet friendly!

Room smelled very musty and it literally took 5 minutes for hot water to start coming out of the shower and sink. Carpeting was nasty and gross. TV remote only worked when standing 1 foot from TV. Sink was missing the stopper. Guy in room next to me kept standing in his doorway smoking and was disruptive throughout the night.

Our stay was very nice! Our room was very clean, and smelled wonderful. The bed linen was fresh and the bathroom was very clean as well. The only complaint is that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We will definitely stay here again!
