Price was good, sheets were clean, they always had cookies and coffee available. One of the few hotels that actually has an exhaust fan in the bathroom. And the refrigerator worked, heating worked.

They shoved a king bed into a 10x10 bed space, it was terrible trying to maneuver. We asked if there was a larger room available- willing to pay upgrade- we were told they are all that size.Not once in 3 days were the hall carpets cleaned. Icy patches directly at the front door- and the ice melt granules and spreader sitting within sight and not used- there was an air freshener mounted inside the elevator- overwhelmingly strong scent -consistently strong. I had to cover my nose. And the walls of the rooms are super thin- I could have almost made out the conversation of the people in the next room at 0300.

Shower door wouldnt stay closed. Shampoo was broken. I just stuck a washcloth under the door it stayed closed then. Brought my own soap so again I was just fine 🙃

Best bang for the buck in the area!

The staff is amazing and they give you a little good bag when you check in. The breakfast is impressive considering the price! The beds are very comfy and the pillows are perfect.

One room I stayed in, the shower did not drain super well. I don’t love standing in an inch of water when I shower. (But the staff is really nice which outweighed the issue)

Okay hotel for the night

Room was clean. Breakfast was busy in the morning but still had plenty of options.

Overpriced but cheaper than other options in the area. Odd smell in the room that I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Breakfast was so crowded that I got my food and took it back to my room instead.

Nothing the place was filthy and if it wasn’t last min I would have canceled. Black mold on the mattress, air vents , found a dead bed bug ,and tons of old trash under our bed

Absolutely perfect.

We have been traveling for nearly three weeks, including eight days on a Princess Cruise. Last night, we pulled in to the Sleep Inn. It was the last night of our vacation after 17 days away from home. Our room was the most comfortable room we had the entire time. It was clean, the bed was perfect, the decor was soothing, and the finishes were very nicely done. In addition, the night clerk was charming, polite, and helpful. Thank you for making our last night so pleasant.

We prefer firmer pillows. But we slept better last night than we have since we left home.

Property was easily accessed from the highway. The room was very clean and staff was very friendly.

The room was very small. It was fine for a one night stay but not sure we’d stay for multiple nights. Hotel had no vending services so if you wanted a drink or snack you would need to walk across the street to a gas station.

Breakfast was very tasty and filling. The location for me was perfect. In fact, i stayed there on my way to Louisville and also on my way back. In the future, i plan to drop in at chautauqua and stay at Sleep Inn again.

The staff is this hotels saving grace

The kids liked the continental breakfast. Our view of the fireworks was spectacular. The staff was friendly and accommodating for sure. They apologized profusely about the mattress issue had. We would stay again knowing what we know and that the staff is more than willing to make you comfortable or move you to a different room.

We are a no for the air misting air freshener in the elevator. Anyone with asthma, other lung problems or mast cell is getting air freshener poisoned in a small closed space. Also while checking for bed bugs we found large urine/blood stains on almost the whole surface of the mattress. Thank goodness it had a mattress protector on top to keep us from it but it was unsettling. This hotel should be replacing those kinds of mattresses.

Room smelled awful and was dirty

The location was safe.

The room SMELLED. I read other reviews stating that the rooms have bad odors. I wish I would’ve listened. The room smelled like an ashtray. It’s non-smoking, but you can tell that at one time it was a smoking room and it was never clean properly to get the smoke out. It’s very difficult to relax in a hotel room When it smells so awful. It is sad because if they would replace the carpet and paint, maybe it could be OK. I would not stay here again because of this. I don’t think her sheets were clean either. But I can’t say for sure. There seem to be stains on them. I don’t know if they were dirty from the previous person and just never changed or if they’re stains that won’t come out in the wash. Not sure but they were not clean. The room was very dirty as well, example the light switches were covered in filth. It was gross. It was a disappointing stay.

Everything you need and nothing you don't. Room isn't big, but has everything you need. Clean, newly renovated, great location to everything in Erie. Staff is beyond friendly and give you a little treat bag when you check in. It's the little personal touches that put a smile on your face. Won't stay anywhere else when visiting this area. Price is just right.
