Sketchy area, illegal activity outside hotel door, filthy rooms, wet towel on side of tub, bullet holes outside building and in ceiling, blood on walls, doors unable to lock properly and can see outside through crack of doors, heating and cooling unit was connected with an extension cord.

comfortable bed, room size. We could see most all the Christmas lights in the park!

Tub had no stopper and a big hole where the stopper switch should have been. The floors were not mopped! My husbands feet were extremely dirty from walking on the floor. The sink drain wouldn't drain correctly! The small in room refrigerator was unsteady and ready to fall over. We were in the building in the back on River road.

Room looked and smelled clean. Bed was comfortable. Jacuzzi was very nice.

First, I had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to come to front office for check in. Had it not been for the non-refund policy there we would have left then. Secondly, I hate to even say this but we killed not 1, not 2, but 3 roaches during first day. Then killed another the next morning before checking out. In all honesty, the jacuzzi had a opening in the trim around it and that could be where they were coming from because the room itself looked and smelled clean. Finally, a tenant sat outside our room until 2:30 blaring music from his car. So we finally got some sleep after that. Will not refer anyone to this hotel.

First off cock roaches. Second this room was dirty!! The floors turned my white socks gross. The tub had hair in it and cigarette burns down the side. For a non smoking room it absolutely stunk of cigarettes! Noisy !! Loved the geese til the worker came and shewed them away! Creek access blocked by guady cheap fencing… this was not a great stay! Lesson learned!

The beds were uncomfortable, the coffee pot was dirty and no coffee filters. I called the office and asked for coffee filters and they never brought any. It smelled like they over did the cleaner. The shower sucked. Not worth what they charge, I should have spent the extra money and stayed somewhere else.

Um, we immediately walked into the 1st room they tried to give us and there were 2 roaches or bed bugs in the floor. 2nd room had a dead bug laying by the bed. I immediately left and went down the street, called booking.com for a full refund.

everything. don’t stay here. dirty, bugs, hair in the shower, terrible water pressure. there’s people that live there long term. it’s gross and sketchy. there was bugs in the bathroom. there was hair in the shower. what i’m assuming was the house keeper came in our room at 10am while we were still sleeping. $100 a night for that is absolutely crazy. there’s definitely mold as i’m allergic to it and within 20 min of being there my eyes were red and i was congested. just save yourself and don’t stay here.

The photos of the hotel must have been from when it first opened. It has become quite run down since then. The photos showed a picturesque pigeon river behind the hotel, but it is now overgrown and messy.

North Carolina Investigates Research Team along with Channel 12 TV Network enjoyed our stay as we headed out to the Smoky mtn bigfoot festival in Townsend Tennessee the following morning. Didn't get to experience the other amenities, but the rooms were nice, staff was great and NCI along with Channel 12 TV Network recommends staying here.

They’ve started renovating, I been staying there from 2 owners before this one . Location is good like being on river .

It not that I dislike anything. They’re trying to renovate last 2 times I’ve fixed things in the room for them . Once I put a screw in the AC unit because it was leaking water inside in the floor . Probably some kid broke it sitting on it the time before .. no biggie. This past time rooms look good . . I wiped a spot on wall from steam from shower near the back door and wiped the outside and inside of the back door . . They was few small places on the ceiling that needed fixing better no leaks lol . But I fix apartments for HUD so I see things lol

Relaxing stay

It's clean and neat but the best part is the backyard. I had an awesome time in the morning with geese, ducks, squirrels and who knows other beautiful birds which feel free and safe to be with me while I was enjoying my morning coffee, feeding the birds.
