Location

Hotel under construction. We were not told about this when booking. Elevator was broken, and we were on the third floor. Charging for parking is annoying. Most places in Pismo do not charge.

Poor value and overdue for an update.

Location

For the price, I would have expected a luxury experience. In fact the hotel is long overdue for some renovations. The carpets in the hallway are peeling and the walls are chipped. In fact, a renovation is underway -- a fact that was not shared until we had made a non-cancelable reservation. The pillows are uncomfortable foam pillows. The breakfast was served in an overcrowded room and the choices were very limited and disappointing. On top of it all, they charge my credit card $15 for parking but never disclosed it. I will not be returning.

the elevator was out of service, but they made right on it. they offered someone to take up our luggage and when we checked out we were completely surprised, that refunded 1/3 the cost of the room because of it. totally un-requested or anything.

I will never stay here again.

Well to be frank, nothing really caught my eye. The whole place was some kind of eyesore that I didn’t expect to see.

Unfortunately, everything. The bathroom is nasty and dirty. The room is even more atrocious and messy, I even believe we saw some items from previous guests left in the room. And my God the food was unbearably terribly. I couldn’t stomach any of the food. :(

Last night stay of LA, LV and SF lovely final stop

Great location for a really nice hotel. Long drive from San Fran and it was great to get a dip in the pool and some sun. Room is lovely and coffee is very good, plus a free cookie. Dinner at next door restaurant was very good and 10% off voucher for hotel guests. Views are brilliant. Morning fog meant we could not enjoy it before we left in morning. Fabulous place.

Large population of Pelicans, so it smells a wee bit fishy when wind blows, but not an issue for us.

Wonderful week in Pismo.

Excellent location with helpful staff. There was some renovation going on so the lobby is temporarily relocated and registration desk is very basic.

We had a small issue with ants in our room but after reporting it, the problem was taken care of to our satiafaction.

Wedding nightmare

View was excellent and room was clean

I booked the room. 1 yr in advance since I was getting married there and requested a room overlooking the gazebo area at wedding location. 2 days before check in they called and said building was being g renovated so they had to give me a different room in different building. The lobby was also being renovated so it took 10.mins to find their make shift lobby which was a desk in the corner next to the elevators that didn't work either. After walking up 3 floors to my room carrying my luggage, wedding dress and bags i make it to my room to find AC not working. Room was mediocre with old, worn furniture. Bathroom was very nice. I was never offered any compensation, discount or upgrade for the inconvenience. Probably wouldn't stay again

Great and relaxing stay

Great location to relax. This review is for Pesmo Lighthouse Suite. Room was awesome, breakfast was also good. If you are with Kids, this is one of the best place to stay and relax. Limited but useful amenities.

Nothing that I disliked but they have serious issue with payment software. I am still seeing charges in my card thought full payment was made through booking.com. I spoke with them before leaving and they assured that charges will be void after you checkout, but that did not happen yet. Need to followup again or will have to raise dispute with the back (worst case).

Great stay!

Great location, we were able to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks from their pool area. We were at a distance where it wasn’t a madhouse to find parking or enjoy the festivities for such a busy holiday. Breakfast was delicious.

Balcony view was not facing the pier, but we were able to quickly solve that problem by heading to the pool area.
