Not what it used to be!

The location is wonderful.

The thermostat was disconnected. So now there was no heat available. There was a fireplace in the room, but in no way does this replace a heating unit with a thermostat. The fireplace was either on - leading to a hot sauna temperature after just a short time. Turning the fireplace off led to a frigid room since it was quite cold out (40’s). The website indicated that they provide high speed internet. The internet was at 2mbps so I called management. They fixed it fairly quickly. However after the fix, I was getting speeds of 8 or 9 mbps - definitely not high speed. The manager tried to justify this by saying that 8 mbps is high speed when it comes from fiber optic rather than cable. Incredible that I was giving this explanation that flies in the face of basic math! Registration was via online - no human available! I had stayed at this property approximately 3 years ago. At that time, I had none of these issues. I don’t know if they have new owners or different management, but the place has gone downhill!

Lovely place.

Loved the whole area. Staff are amazing and comfy bed. Only improvements are: 1. Add a sign on doors asking guest to not slam doors. 2. Stop spraying pesticides as it smelled very strong if Roundup on paths and parking lots.

Hotel was clean and friendly, loved the free firepit and the fireplace in our room.

The room was spacious. I loved that we had a fireplace in our room. I loved that there was a patio in the back. It was nice to have a refrigerator. We enjoyed the firepit on the bluff. We met two very nice families by the pool. The staff was very accomadating and took very good care of us

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at around Pismo. Comfortable, clean and lots to do. Heated pool, jacuzzi and a lobby with goodies for purchase.

No real complaints. Complimentary breakfast and no parking fee would’ve scored it a 10.

Fabulous place with walk along the beach to town.

Easy access to the beach and then a 1 mile walk to town. Fire pits overlooking the ocean allow for great views or orcas, breaching. What a delight. Room was cozy with an electric fireplace in it.

You charge money for parking, coffee, and water. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that does that. It’s bad for customer retention - just wrap it into the price of the room so it doesn’t feel so cheap.

Property was really nice I had a king traditional room. Very clean and nice. The bed was somewhat comfortable to hard for me. What I liked most about the hotel was the view of the ocean! The walk way down to the beach was fun such a beautiful view! Staff was very repectful and nice. Nice walk to restaurant me and my husband walked to a restaurant.

Our ceiling fan was loud and wobbly and had lots of spider webs I actually had 3 spiders in our bed took videos. In total we killed about 5 spiders.

Delightful Pismo hotel for Pelican and Whale watching.

Lovely hotel with views over the sea and a fabulous clifftop promenade towards the beach, with firepits for relaxing while sunset viewing( an absolute must and one of our holiday highlights) Lovely large room with a fireplace, (nice cosy touch), nice decor, great bed and good shower.Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee shop next to reception where affordable breakfast items could be purchased. Small pool and spa bath with sunloungers. Thankyou to the lovely maintenance man who went and got me a towel when I forgot to bring mine to the pool.

If I stayed again I would request a front line room with sea views.We were given a room at the back of the property near the road( which we couldn't hear when windows closed) but it meant we only had a view of close hedge /wall and it made the room a bit dark. No problem for a couple of nights but would bother me for longer stay. We did ask if anything else available on arrival but not so unfortunately.
