Rooms at main building are quite old, air conditioner is very very noisy (specially in room 330).
Breakfast can be improved, for example adding some fresh vegetables (there’re none) or other fruits than bananas.

Room is big.
Lighting in the room and bathroom, room and bathroom just felt a little run down for what I paid. Not much in terms of toiletries. No frills. Felt outdated. Shower door and nightstand had sharp edges and cut myself a couple times.

by this hotel has been my go to when I want a mini escape since I was maybe 21. I am now 42 and up until now. It is no longer my Sunnyvale gem. Things have gone downhill and they’ve gotten to be cheap loses a lot of charm. There is still a happy hour from 5 to 6 only no little snacks not even chips when they used to even have cheese, crackers,salami and some nuts. also only strictly beer and wine no mixed drinks. At breakfast, there’s limited items some cold eggs and sausage, cereal and bread coffee oranges. I use the tray from the room to help carry my stuff back and I got stopped by two employees I think one being the manager and got told I am not allowed to remove the trays from the room and use them. I said OK while I’m going back to the room right now. I just use it to help carry my beverages. To then the woman said no you can’t do that either you can’t take food to your room, which makes no sense cause you can eat in your room order dinner to your room from DoorDash. They don’t have a restaurant, but you can’t eat their breakfast items in the room.? they put me off so much cause it’s not only one but two and I said well some of my breakfast is already up in the room already and I only have a coffee and orange juice and she said oh it’s OK. You can take that and I insisted on giving her back the tray cause I didn’t even want to talk about it anymore. She was very rude and so was the man that told me first. Way to strut about an item that was getting right returned back to the room that helped me carry some stuff that was difficult. This will be my last stay in 25 years. Also, they are stingy with the towels for the pool and question you. One couple ask for towels at about one they didn’t receive any till maybe 330. Also, hot tub was not filled or working.

Size of suite was decent
Nothing had been replenished like towels or cups or anything at all. The suite had a jetted tub which is why I paid as much as I did and the water wouldn’t get hot. It was dirty. Room service was cut off 4 hours early. Bathroom floor was very slippery due to lack of towels or rug and fell stepping out of shower.

They pre-authorized $100 USD on my card when I checked in, and when we checked out and flew back home, they quietly charged an amount to my card without letting us know at all. I only discovered it on my credit card statement some time later. When I contacted them, they said we ordered beverages to the room, but we absolutely did not order anything. Any further attempts to clarify this was met with 0 replies. I’ve sent many many messages over many days, they’ve ghosted us ever since. Have started a chargeback dispute with my card issuer.

I liked how this hotel brought me the experience of the dirties hotel ever... Never imagined one can go this low...
WORST hotel ever. EXTREMELY dirty.
- Hair all over the bathroom
- High amount of dust on the floor
- Food stains from previous tenant
- All flat surface is sticky AF
- AC not functioning...

The room was spacious and front desk staff at the main hotel were pleasant. I liked the full sized fridge and microwave available.
I should have heeded the previous reviews about the Villas. I do not recommend them at their price. Our room was quite musty smelling. There were still bits of mold on the edge of the bathtub and the water took quite a while to warm up. The fireplace did not work. It was spacious, yes, but the bed was also a bit too soft to the point where you could feel the springs. And some fo the bedding was a bit dusty. The ventilation in our Villa, 451, was not great. Again, I think if the room were cleaned properly, aired out, and the fireplace fixed, you'd be in great shape. As of right now, I do not recommend the villa at its given price. My partner and I were just fortunate to only be there for one night.

Mediocre breakfast for a 4* hotel, noisy AC and no option to open windows, low pressure in the shower, staff that is doing their job, but not really there for you. It is just overall not a 4* level, at least according to Swiss standards

We booked a room for the villa suite and when we got there for check in we were told that all those were booked and booking.com was responsible for booking the room wrong on the hotels end. We were put in a regular room thankfully the bed was comfortable but we were very upset we had brought food to cook in the kitchen and our room did not even have a fridge the cabinet was locked. I called the front desk when we got to our room to ask to switch the young man that helped us stated he would try to have someone clean a villa for me but no guarantee he would call me back to let know the status. He never called me back .Horrible service from him in particular. Was very disappointed. Then upon checking out a woman at front desk confirmed that booking did in fact book us for a villa . This young man lied when he could have just been honest from the beginning. Hoping management can accommodate this and make it right. Thank you

Late evening front dest person was not very friendly at all. Our AC was not working and after a long time this person finally agrees to switch room. The new room was very dirty, staff does not vacuum or clean the floors.

Great staff and location. Easy check-in, nice happy hour and good breakfast.
Guests fighting in the hallway, barking dogs left alone in the room across from us. When we went to breakfast (we're on the 3rd floor), the elevator is taped off and broken. I understand that elevators break, but the signage for where to find the stairwell was not correct and if there would of been a fire by the stairs or room neat them we would not of been able to get to the stairwell. I do have a video if management would like to see it.
