Poor soundproofing, and the restroom occasionally smells bad.

Room soundproofing is very poor — I can hear people talking next door very clearly. If you want to sleep well, don’t stay here. The bathroom smells bad, and even after flushing, the odor comes back after a few hours. I would not recommend this hotel strongly

I don't recommend if you don't have a deep sleep, resistant to noise

The room was big, some staff people were nice and helpful.

Some of the staff were quite rude, but there were some nice people too. The room was very noisy; I could barely sleep. The heater/air conditioner made a lot of noise, and there was a fan in the bathroom that ran 24 hours a day and was even noisier than the heater. The bed and the pillows were old and uncomfortable. Breakfast was not great.

Decent stay in Sunnyvale

Easy parking. Decent room size

No kettle in the room. Coffee maker continuously pours out coffee flooding the table. Only disposable utensils and plates during breakfast - environmentally unfriendly.

Good hotel for one night

Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Staff at reception very kind.

The room was clean but smelled a bit stuffy. The heather was noisy sometimes. It woke me up at night. Breakfast correct, not great. Also they charged 3 times the cost of the room. They told me there was an issue with the system and I will get the refund. Let’s see.

The room was large and clean. Breakfast was better than most.

Room was noisy. We were not far from the kitchen and they kept their door open all the time, perhaps for temperature regulation or fresh air. In any case, there were lots of plates clinking and other kitchen noises, starting very early in the morning.

Numerous stays here. Always come back for great staff with clean, quiet rooms that are just the right size (Comfortable beds). Free breakfast is ample in choice with great kitchen/dining room staff.

Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Location was great with nearby restaurants. Added bonus was the coin laundry. Needed this for our 9 days stay.

I usually always enjoy my stays here.

Clean for the most part, quiet, safe and staff is accommodating.

There’s always hair on the ceilings in the bathrooms and the lamp shades are getting pretty stained and yucky in most rooms now.

Lovely quiet stay. Great value - would return and recommend!

Room was clean and quiet. You can open the windows. Bed mattress was not too soft. Room setup made it easy to eat takeout meals. The fridge in the room was larger than expected - not a full fridge but not a mini fridge. Breakfast was decent and provided good value. I enjoyed the coffee. There is no hot water kettle but you get hot water from the dispenser in morning. Lots of free parking. I loved this hotel and would stay again next time I'm in Sunnyvale.

The area is relatively quiet but you can hear when room next to you use the plumbing. This did not affect my sleep or the quality of my stay. I would 100% stay here again. I loved it.

Great stay at Maple Tree.

Beds are super comfy. Room was clean and a/c worked great. Elevators are fast. Check-in is very easy and friendly. Breakfast was good, although ending at 10 am made for a rush crowd at 9:30 am. Who wants breakfast at 6:00 a.m.?

Bathroom needed exhaust fan to remove unpleasant odors and humidity.

Hotel in good location for connections to Palo Alto and Mountain View

Large room with nice walk-in shower. Walking distance to restaurants and the bus stop.

Our first room on the top floor was below the air extraction for the whole floor so it was very noisy in the morning. We asked for a change of room and that was much better.

We really enjoyed staying here

A great place to stay, not too far from SJSU. Comfortable, clean, nice pool. Nice local eating options in heritage district - although a drive rather than a walk away.

The hotel does not always pick up direct messaging through Booking.com. We asked for an extra bed through Booking.com messaging but this was not received. Luckily the staff were able to sort the extra bed, but they told us we should have contacted them directly.

Would stay here again.

The staff was exceptional from the front desk, to the housekeeper, to the breakfast staff. They were all friendly with smiles. The room was clean and comfortable. The whole hotel was clean. The breakfast was your standard hotel fare but plenty of it. The coffee was good and never ran out. In the lobby there was ice water with fruit inclusions that was a nice refreshing break from regular bottled water.

The only downside was the parking. We arrived back at the hotel after a concert and there wasn't any parking spots. Now this is not all the hotels fault as some people took up more than one spot. A moving truck company used 5 spots-so I don't blame the hotel but an unfortunate side effect of property at a premium in Sunnyvale.

Good for a quick overnight stay on our road trip!

Check in and check out was seamless and the staff was very friendly!

Noise level was a bit high being on the first floor. We could hear both people outside in the parking lot and the crowd entering the breakfast room.

Get rid of Christian and Indian lady at front desk to get all the stars this hotel deserves.

-good laundry bags -free parking -The kitchen staff was nice and clean. -GRACE at the front desk is AMAZING and deserves the best customer service award!!! -ants in room/day 1 😳😒 -front desk Indian lady RUDE. A group of 20-30 people came in and she brushed us off, didn't acknowledge us other customers, told her other staff with another computer to help her with those 30 people, and said that we can wait!!! I waited 5 minutes before I became frustrated and said that it's not okay to have us sit here and wait for you to check in this big party and that's when GRACE stepped up and told INDIAN LADY that she is going to help us other customers in line because she saw our frustration!!! THANK YOU GRACE for SEEING US and helping us. -Location is okay. Near these apartments and the side we parked on, had traffic. -Breakfast was decent. Love the rice 🥰 wish they had bacon AND REAL OATMEAL 😩 -Called front desk about internet not being connected in my new room to connect my Netflix account, spoke with "Christian" who hung up on me, because my 3 year old who has Autism did a scream because NETFLIX wasn't working on the TV and she was being impatient, not understanding that I am trying to fix this problem 😫😢 for you to work in CUSTOMER SERVICE.... YOU SUCK! LIKE all the way 💯 you need a new job. You and the little indian lady from yesterday's check-in (I want to say she's Indian??) We've gone through enough and came here to relax! We didn't come here to deal with BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Be more mindful of how you treat your customers! Or get another job/career donkey! -KITCHEN STAFF & HOUSEKEEPING LOVES THEIR JOBS & WE LOVE THEM! They have wonderful customer service and we're nice people. They kept the facility nice and stocked and clean! -The pool area is amazing.

I didn't like Christian or Indian lady at the front desk! The front desk sets the tone and those two were rude and unprofessional!!!! I hope they are not working here next time I book a room! Everything was good but those two workers!!!! I also didn't like the maintenance guy who was supposed to spray my room down with bug spray, because he gave me an attitude for telling him, I've never experienced ants in my hotel room! Like ever and that it wasn't okay and I would love to switch my room. He gave me an attitude as if I was wrong for asking for another room! Who wants ants crawling on them or their food? NOT ME! Be understanding of the customer and don't be a donkey! Customers like me are always right and don't need your extra attitude!!!

I’d stay again, but not long term.

Location, especially near Garcia’s taqueria,so so good! The hotel was clean, good access to handicap parking, elevator access, breakfast was mostly good, the potatoes were cold and hard so didn’t try the second day as there are other options, pool looked great although we didn’t have time to try it due to time constraints but we booked in hopes that we would. Close to Caltrain, which is huge for game days. Shower was great, they provide shampoo/body wash and a conditioner. They don’t (unless requested) provide daily housecleaning which isn’t a huge deal. Felt safe in the area, wasn’t worried about leaving my vehicle overnight in their parking area. They provide fridge , microwave and coffee in room! Bed is not pillow top, it’s more firm than I prefer, so that makes me less likely to stay again but some prefer that type so it’s a personal preference. Front desk ladies were friendly, helpful and always seemed genuine in my interest/interaction with them, which I appreciated! I would stay again and I would advise my peeps to stay.

The air conditioner was finicky, hard to regulate so it mostly just stayed turned on when it would be better if it worked with the weather… maybe it does but the weather has been so random lately

Friendly and helpful staff on reception Very nice good sized pool and hot tub in garden setting Very good breakfast with items replenished often. Coffee in china mugs and proper china plates and proper knives and forks instead of plastic. Enough staff to keep the breakfast area clean and tidy. Breakfast hours 6 - 10 all week. Plenty of washing machines for laundry have stayed in Palo Alto in the past but this was far more affordable when staying to get a flight from SF airport

It’s so close to everything! The property is so clean and the staff are really nice. The rooms are always nice and clean they do a really good job shoutout for the employees! And the breakfast buffet is really good for the price and it’s included to your room.

Great place to stay, do not skip the breakfast!

The hotel was very busy, lots of guests, but the parking lot was set up so there was never a long walk to the room. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding and I didn't even have any pancakes! I'd definitely stay here again.
