    I had a great stay at Hotel St. James, and I especially appreciated the proximity to the theaters. It’s on the same block as the Lyceum, so in the morning I was able to quickly get in line for Oh Mary! rush tickets. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The guests around me were pretty quiet, but I do get the impression that the rooms aren’t especially sound proof, so you might want to bring ear plugs or a white noise machine just in case.

    The room was fine but had no pictures and nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. A shelf or little table is needed. But it was clean and a place to stay close to the shows, Time Square, Rockefeller Center, and Bryant Park.

    We arrived at Penn Station late at night. This hotel was only a 15 minute walk from the station and it has 24 hour reception. The room was very clean and the hotel has a cool vibe. We would definitely recommend.
