    Some rooms that offer queen beds have 1 side of the bed pushed up against a wall. Do a thorough job of looking at the room you are booking. No closet space and one drawer, so if you’re with 2 or more people , room will be tight. Nice rooftop view. Nice continental breakfast that starts at 7:00 am. Elevator service can be challenging , but hotel is conveniently located to multiple train lines, Times Square and Theatre District.

    The Civilian Hotel NYC is a favorite to book in the city! Always very clean, friendly team, comfortable beds, rooms small but decor is perfect. We turn this into an annual stay to have a base around Broadway shows, easy walking to Central Park, lots of shops and great food nearby! We’ll be back

    Absolutely worth every single penny! Where should I start? The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The gave us a room with a breath taking view. The room was better than we ever imagined, clean, well equipped and beautifully designed. Some may consider as small, but this is New York it’s part of what made this experience even better. Lastly, the location is so amazing, you have literally everything close to you (restaurants, stores, pharmacy, souvenir shops… name it all) I am soooooo coming back here again, and next time probably with a whole bunch of friends and families. Civilian Hotel made my 1st experience here memorable and I will always be grateful for them! Thanks guys, till next time ❤️

    When I booked I didnt know it was a club upstairs. This made the elevators super slow and bisy. All the people going to the club upstairs use the same elevator which was super annoying. The room was extremely small and to do housekeeping it was additional charge. Overall I wouldnt recommend place.
