Very dirty the toilets and general room . Bed sheets, Housekeeping needed to be improbved toilets and hair around the room . bath tub was full. Sheets all open douvets,

Staff & the area
The bathroom had hair in the drain the shower was clogged the fridge and wall had dents in them and the bed was sunk in as if someone laid there for day. The blankets were really ruff and thin and the lights were really dim.

One small working elevator shared with guests and employees :( it was very uncomfortable when an employee cramped the space with the utility/laundry cart. I understand it’s under renovation

Breakfast was sumptuous and very generous. Checking in was smooth. Staff were friendly. Bed was very soft and cozy. Room was so spacious.
The hotel is doing some renovations during this time. Faint smell of paint can be smelled in the room but it went away when with air circulation.

Major renovations taking place, no warnings of this prior to booking. 1 working elevator for multiple guest ++++ slow, we ended up using emergency stairs majority of the time. Room service every second day. Would not stay again.

The entire facility was not kept up nice, room were dirty and bathrooms as well. Although, front desk accommodation me in changing rooms I was not pleased and disappoitment. This was my second time staying and I don't think I will stay here any longer. Breakfast was not the greatest as well. Had to be in line for hot foods to be ready. Overall, this second stay didn't feel great.
Rooms were dirty, front door to the room was not working, no remote control in the bedroom. Toilet was dirty, no extra towels were given when asked for them. Overall, not pleased with the room at all.

I slept well, location is good and close to stores and food options too.
My check-in (and general contact with front desk) left a whole lot to be desired- it was rather lack luster all through. But hey, I was there for lodging purposes right!
Shower pressure was pretty low, not the best. But that could have just been an issue in the room I stayed at.

Only the location
The toilet didn't work, the water went up after we flushed it, I thought the dirty water would come out. And the bathtub looked dirty. In general, it didn't look like it was clean the room.

Upon walking in, (9pm) there was some sort of work gathering in the lobby.. Everyone was screaming and hollering..
Talk about construction? The property really needs to inform guest before arriving to the hotel.. The construction was going on until 2am in the morning? Why? Just because Disneyland closes at 12am, doesn’t mean that you should be working all night as well.. People are trying to sleep.. We pay top dollars to stay off of Harbor.. It’s getting a little annoying now..

Location was close enough to the Disney parks and we’ve stayed at these hotels before so figured this location would be fine…. Mistakes, clearly were made.
Light sensor was out and no one cared couldn’t sleep for hours and when we finally complained we were told to deal with it and it would be fixed the next day. First of all who thinks sleeping with lights on is acceptable??! Second of all no one fixed it all they did was put tape over it and it still kept malfunctioning all night both nights. Zero effort to try and make it work or offer any discount.

The property was beautiful inside and out and the employees were very nice and accommodating. Even the construction workers were pleasant and friendly. I love that it is a dog/cat friendly hotel! The pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus as well as breakfast each morning.
There were only a few shortcomings. The toilet paper was cheap and not up to standard. Not enough silverware and dishes for 4-6 guests and not enough bath towels for 4-6 guests. (There were 5 of us)

The kitchen and having a living room.
My initial check in was very unpleasant. Was not told there was a $25 dollar charge the day I went to took at the room when I asked for the total. The suite has roaches and they never came to spray the room.

I liked the division between the bedroom and the living room, it granted us plenty of space.
What I didn’t like about the property was that the AC wasn’t working and the staff didn’t care about our concerns. We had to leave at 4AM because the staff couldn’t accommodate us and move us to another room

Free breakfast in the morning and then the Social Hour on Wednesday and the ladies that work there that just that area
When we came in we went in our room was about 6:00 p.m. turn the AC down to about 70 to cool it down went to Target for about an hour came back still hot went through the night sweating had to take off clothes to try to get more comfortable through the night morning came told the staff if they can change his rooms they said they could if I was coming back later I said yes we're going to the park will be back later came back they said they fixed the AC which they did then throughout the week we never got room service for our towels or toilet paper pretty much know housekeeping and we were there from Tuesday to Saturday

The staff is very nice and this is a convenient location. The room floor plan is nice.
The furniture is damaged and outdated in the rooms. There were stains on the carpet and on some of the towels well. The room I reserved through their app was reassigned and I was not able to get my preferred room.

Breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from. The beds are very soft, so it hurt my back, but the kids slept so good. The pillows were nice and fluffy. I love the kitchenette in our room and the view of the pool.
The silverware in room was not clean. There was a black spider in the living room by the couch. There was not extra blankets for the sofa couch.

Bathroom has fecal matter on it and they didn’t care to come clean it or change us into a different room. They promised to credit us one night stay and never did. Worst experience ever do not recommend and will never stay here again.

I used booking.com to book our stay. I made a mistake and actually needed 2 nights. Didn’t have time to call the property as we were traveling so I hoped either I got a response from booking.com or could get help from the property. When I arrived I told the front desk person my situation and needed 2 nights instead of 1. I also mentioned I made the request on booking.com. He said unfortunately, he could not do anything since it was on booking.com system. I was disappointed and I just booked the second night hotel stay directly with him.
Interestingly though, I got a message from booking.com later that it was a reply from the property and the message read “request declined. I arranged a new reservation.”
SO THE SAME PERSON THAT TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT HELP ME WITH THE RESERVATION I MADE WITH BOOKING.COM BECAUSE IT’S A DIFFERENT SYSTEM REPLIED THROUGH BOOKING.COM TO REJECT MY REQUEST…..
So in the end, I had to pay more, and give two $100 dollar deposits and even though i booked for a new second night, our room wasn’t even cleaned (new bedsheets/towels/garbage pickup).
I realized this is because we were in a busy part of city, and close to all the summer activities in Anaheim (Disneyland) and the workers and the hotels don’t care. They will always have customers and don’t need me so they don’t go out of their way to help. Just the reality when there is high demand.

Kind of dirty , no ice bucket and it took forever to get one fire alarm went off sooo many times 3 AM the whole hotel out on road for a false alarm possibly due to construction exhausting . Art bus was not every 30 more like every 70 minutes

The room had a weird stuffy smell, and when first arriving , things like the fridge were out of place , and cabinets were left opened . My husband also had to kill a few bugs, I thought were roaches……

The personal at the breakfast area and front desk were helpful but could not really do as much as everything was falling apart and was in terrible shape or broken
This was unfortunately the worst hotel I have stayed in since 20 years. There is construction ongoing so everyday something else was not working elevator and at least 3 days there was no water one day even until night time/ to pay full price for a hotel room learn there is no water is let’s say not acceptable. House keeping was understaffed and did not clean as promised every other day maybe every 3 days . So be prepared to pick up your tosses from the front desk and take out your own trash. Buy your own tissues. No service to be expected. Why not stay in an Airbnb directly ?? Breakfast is also terrible - plastic dishes and muffins which were coming out of a cheap plastic box. Bagels are hart and dry. No fresh fruits or anything special. So many parents let their children misbehave at the breakfast - it’s mind boggling loud. One night there was a fire alarm due to laundry - in urgent need for a update. The rooms and hallways where old and filthy. Also the hotel calls itself main gate .. that’s not ever close to the main gate. I felt terrible I let me family live is that hotel and did not make a better research before. I loved the Homewood in Burlington Vermont and just thought all have the same standard and extra ordinary breakfast. But not even on the same planet .. next time I glady pay more and stay somewhere I feel good.

I didn’t like that there was blood all over some of the pillow cases and wall. Found a bunch of hair in the bed which is pretty gross mixed with blood. We had to ask for towels cause there was only 2 in the room. There was one washcloth so we had to ask for more of those. Plenty of notice about water being shut off between the hours they posted but it was off until 9ish pm which was hours past what they said and it was cold for hours afterwards. All we wanted was a shower and there was 4 of us. Other than the first night construction started bright and early at 7 am in which it sounded like someone was going to come through the ceiling. My children typically sleep 10-12 hours a day. This was supposed to be our vacation in which I’m a service plumber that wakes up at 4 am everyday. On vacation I like to sleep until 9ish am. Got it covered on the first night. Second night on we are woken up every morning with construction at 7 am.

I wanted to give this hotel a good rating because the staff was so nice but it just wasn't up to par with others in the area at this price point. It's very outdated and worn down. There were socks and toys left in our room from previous visitors, the hallway smelled old and dingy, and the elevator took forever every single time we went to use it. The living room has an odd couch in it which limits the already tight space. They had 3 towels in our room, for 4 people, in a room that is supposed to accommodate 6 people. At this price point, I didn't expect luxury but I did expect it to be higher quality than it was. Also, there are 2 Homewood Suites locations in the area and when you look them up on Google, this one is the "Main Gate" location and the other is the "Convention Center" location. I'm not familiar with the area and I thought "main gate" implied it was closer to Disneyland but it is not. The other is much closer, seems to be more updated, and has better reviews. When I looked it was the same price as well. I noticed this right before I checked in and I regret not booking at the other location. I've also stayed at The Clementine before and while it cost more, it had much more space, was closer to the park and I was much happier with that stay.

Skye is always amazing, early check in is always available. Breakfast is always taste the staff is awesome. What ever we need they bring it to the room. This hotel has so much to offer.
It doesn’t have smart t’vs considering it’s near Disneyland. It’s a family hotel. My kids don’t like commercials. Smart T.V’s have more to keep the kiddos busy.
