Shampoo and conditioners are empty, sheets and linens smells like cigarette, the rooms are falsely advertised in terms of fridge and coffee maker as the room doesnt have any. Breakfast lacks protein and choices, waffle batter is sour.

The bath tub.

What a horrible experience. The room was gross and had cob webs all over. The place needs a paint job. The sink on the outside of the bathroom that doesn't lock was useless. The breakfast is sub par. Nothing was getting refilled unless you asked and the bar where the food was is filthy. Would never stay here again even if it was free.

People that lives in there kids are loud . Her boyfriend kept slamming the door around 1-3 am knock on my door one night but I didn't answer just looked out the window . No extra blankets , no refrigerator or microwave

It was quick and I'd never stay there again!

Breakfast was poor!

Room was run down, toilet water was running all night, sink tap leaks, bathroom counter was falling apart, the place seem unclean and spelled bad! Yhe only thing that was a pass was the bedsheets appeared to be clean!

Gnat Motel

It's a total and complete dump. Gnats swarming, resting in the tub and curtains and side of mattress. Nasty smell inside, tv didn't work. Dumpster view (literally, there was a dumpster right out front, obscuring the view). I get It's cheap but they shouldn't do people like this: the pictures online are 100% not what you get in person. I will never trust this brand again.

Would not recommend, dumpy and smelly.

The pictures listed for this property create unrealistic expectations. We give 0 stars, did not even end up staying the night due to how dumpy and did not want to risk encountering bed bugs. This place is a run down Roach Motel attached to an Indian restaurant with a tiny parking lot that felt like the slums. Upon walking into our main floor room we encountered a mouse and an inescapable smell of Indian food. Would not recommend.

Did not like the property at all

The hotel room was not clean. There’s black spots on the sheet. The floors seem to never been shampooed or vacuumed. TV. Didn’t work at all when you leave the room someone goes through your room and looks through your stuff. I actually left one day early lost my money but but not what you do. I do not recommend this hotel for anybody it should be closed down for being on fit on clean.

Amazing and great staff that were very helpful

We have stayed their numerous times. This time we were in an event in Hamilton but we are so comfortable with this location and know where everything is around it that we stayed here and traveled the hour each day to our event. We will definitely be back

The best thing about the motel is the staff. They were awesome and I would stay with them again.

We ran into an issue with the AC/heater in our room but Management immediately sent maintenance to deal with it. When it could not be fixed they provided a heater and extra duvets and we were very comfortable.

The continental breakfast wasn't great. While they did have waffles that you could make and cereal, there was only bread for toast and very small muffins. So the menu was more suited to small kids rather than adults.

Will never stay at this Howard Johnson Location again!

The people at the front desk were personable. The person who ensured the missing items during the very limited items for a continental breakfast were always replenished. He made our waffles and brought it to us as the line for the waffles was long. Parking was included in our rate. The room where the bed is located was spacious. The shower stall was very clean. Water pressure very good. Ask for check out at noon instead of 11am and was granted with no problem.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was very dated, very small shower stall, toilet seat move around, the faucet top was broken, the washroom was very small, did not include a small fridge (you could get one for a small charge), nor a microwave. We had a red heart shape jacuzzi tub, that was not functional. The mattress was very old, sunken in the middle and very uncomfortable. The pillows were awful. Granted its a busy month (August)in Niagara Falls, its the most I have paid ($249.00/1 night) for a hotel stay and was the worse accommodation by far! This is was a classic case of price gouging. This hotel is is less than a 1*. The compound is old and dirty with lots of cracks, definitely dilapidated. Photos not a good representation of the room. Have stayed at other Howard Johnson Properties in the past, this was the worst!

Interesting to say the least

It was close to work location

They took the fridge out. No way to keep food in the hotel room. Wouldn’t let you use ice for the cooler either. Room had a thong and socks under the bed when we got into the room toilet paper role holders are rusted and broke and look awful. Spa bath was falling apart. Put up a fight about the weight limit of dogs which they want under 30 lbs I have service dogs which by law they cant discriminate based on weight size or breed. They eventually gave up rented us a room and made it seem like they was doing us a favour by accepting the service dogs. Breakfast is free however ppl over take and leave nothing for others shouldn’t be a free for all or have someone monitoring as ppl were taking 3-6 muffins for themselves. Pool deck was disgusting. Bandaids left on the pool side and in the pool. Dogs were on pool deck where they shouldn’t be not sanitary. For the price of the room you can get better for less at other hotels that allow dogs and don’t charge for them.

It was discusting . Holes in the walls, wallpaper peeling off, broken bathroom door, broken faucet, no sink stopper, and the worst part, it smelled like a dirty ashtray even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room. There was absolutely nothing I liked about it.

Everything was filthy. Disgusting. Cigarette burn marks throughout the room. Every material item had holes. Stains everywhere you look. An absolute terrible smell in the room. I didn’t have high expectations whatsoever, but I never would have expected it to be as bad as it was. How this place hasn’t been shut down I have no idea.
