We loved it so much we hope to come back!

The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had. The dinner service was a gourmet delight. All the guests were eager to sample the wonderful food! The view from our room was lovely. We could see the cows grazing in the meadow and hear their bells softly ringing. The location of the hotel was in Castel Rotto, a charming alpine village.

Exceptional

The hotel is conveniently located. The staff (especially the main hostess) is very friendly and attentive. The homemade pastries and bread at breakfast are delicious. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to spend a week or even more in Kastelruth.

Nothing to complain about really. The value for money ratio is just that good, especially considering it's a 3* hotel.

The food is exceptional. It is a must to book the stay and include dinners. Every day was so tasty menu as being in the degustation restaurant. The rooms were clean, spacious and the staff provided excellent service. Highly recommended place to stay.

I enjoyed staying at Residence Mayr and visiting the Dolomites of Italy and surrounding Alps passes!

I had a great time at Residence Mayr. The workers were very friendly and helpful and courteous. The woman who checked me in was very helpful on where to park my car. The breakfast was exceptional. There was so much to eat. If leave hungry from that breakfast there is something wrong with you. The selection was vast and the quality was great. I was able to eat my breakfast every morning with a great view of the Dolomites and surrounding houses and hotels and fields where the farmers cut their hay and grass. The view was stunning. A perfect view for breakfast. I was traveling alone and had the perfect size room and bed for a single traveler. My room had a great view of the village of Castelrotto and the church steeple that was lit every night and looked beautiful. There was a great pizzeria at the end of the main walking area on your right. This is an easy walk from the hotel. Then there was a fun little bar with delicious cocktails and ice cream to end your night and watch the people walk by about 100 meters before the pizzeria on the same side. This is a very peaceful town or village to stay in. A very beautiful village and area and then easy drive to "The Great Dolomites Road" and all the attractions or whatever you want to do. Hiking, Biking, driving, motorcycle rides, eating, drinking and maybe take a gondola or tram to the top of a mountain for a better view. So much to do. I highly recommend staying hear. The room and bathroom were very clean and well kept every day. I will say I was slightly confused by the term "attached bathroom". I thought that meant my bathroom was attached to another bedroom and I would be sharing it and that is why my rate was cheaper than other places in Castelrotto. Typically on booking.com the term is "private bath" when you have your own bathroom. And I did have my own private bathroom which I definitely wanted and preferred.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I was completely satisfied and happy with my stay at Residence Mayr. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to.... leave and go home....and back to work!
