Wonderful place to spend a few days in the Dolomite Alps of the South Tyrol.

Situated in a gorgeous spot on the upper edge of town. The spa and whirlpool bath was also a nice feature.

Dinner is limited to a fixe pris menu, and too much for more limited appetites.

Wonderful vacation place with board.

Park Hotel Tyrol, 8 Tioslerweg, Castelrotto. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a truly unique place, combining Italian warmth and heartfelt hospitality with attention to details and meticulous care, which Austria is known for. The list of all things we liked is too long. Great location, upscale service. Beautiful rustic decor and extremely clean premises. Tables with white tablecloths. Nutritious and healthy buffet breakfast, dinner which included buffet salad and antipasti bar , plus pasta, plus soup, plus choice of entre plus desert. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas. Ski room with warm ski boot stands and table for waxing. Indoor garage. Ski bus at the end of driveway. Few tiny shortcomings : while beds are very comfortable, pillows are a little flat and lumpish and comforters are somewhat small, all the soups tasted pretty much the same, which was a little boring, and in our room you had to hold shower head while showering. Also warning to fellow travelers, that the toiletries in Europe are usually limited to body and hair wash in one bottle and shower hats. Being seasoned travelers, we always carry our own conditioner , creams etc. Don’t forget sunblock! Mountain sun is strong even in winter! I have to tell that all the shortcomings were well compensated for by overall wonderful impression. Bravo to the owners and team! I hope they keep up with high standards by our next trip!

Es wurde mit Anbindung an die Sellaronda geworben. Wir haben 30 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Wolkenstein fahren müssen .
