Which was plenty and very tasty. Food is very good. Buffet breakfast very tasty lots of choice. Dinner's are amazing every evening 5 course menu served at the table by very friendly staff. The salad buffet as starter very very good infact amazing. So are the next courses. Hotel is run by family Mayr. Papa and Son in the kitchen dishing out beautiful food.Mama with daughter Eva in the restaurant very friendly looking after guests. Always very helpful and nothing is too much. Eva speaks very good English so that was a great help. Rooms are lovely clean and comfortable. Great beds good mattress. Lovely balcony overlooking beautiful Dolomites. Defenatly would be coming again.

Property was beautiful. The cleanliness, service. It felt like home. The chef prepared some amazing dishes for us even though we had dietary restrictions. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Es hat zu einem perfekten WInterurlaub gepasst....

4 Tage Skifahren bei Kaiserwetter waren mehr als super - die Unterkunft in der Residence MAYR mit allen Annehmlichkeiten des Hotel MAYR dazu haben alles noch perfekter gemacht. Die Herzlichkeit und Professionalität der Gastgeber & des Personals ist schon mal alle Sterne wert. Die Versprechungen für ein täglich außergewöhnliches Abendmenü wurden für mich nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen. Das Highlight jeden Frühstücks, das eh schon mehr als reichhaltig war, waren die selbstgebackenen Kuchen, Plunder, Strudel, .... Die Zimmer des wahrscheinlich neueren Hotels sind gegenüber der Residence sicher noch moderner eingerichtet - meines in der Residence war auf alle Fälle sehr großzügig und absolut sauber. Der kleine Weg zum Skibus war das einzige Zugeständnis an eine Ort, wo nicht jedes Hotel direkt an der Straße liegen kann. Dafür war die 6-Minuten-Fahrt bis zur Bergbahn Seis und eine erstaunliche Taktrate der Skibusse ein wunderbares Argument gegen das eigene Auto. Ich sag noch einmal Danke ans gesamte Team - der nächste Skiurlaub an der Seiser Alm führt nur über H+R MAYR.

es hat angefangen bei der Begrüßung durch die Senjor Chefin , herzlich , mit alle wichtigen Informationen, Zimmer sauber und großzügig, Frühstück und Abendessen bestens, übertraf unsere Erwartungen, Service immer präsent, hat die Wünsche schon im voraus erkannt und immer sehr freundlich, auch die Verabschiedung durch die Chefin war etwas Besonderes.

Da ich Möbelhersteller bin, schaue ich immer auf die Möbelausstattung, die bei dem Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber noch immer gute Tischlerarbeit präsentiert, beim Buffet ist es etwas eng, wenn mehr Personen und Personal anwesend ist,

L' accoglienza da parte dello staff è davvero molto piacevole; l hotel è situato in posizione tranquilla e vicino al centro del paese . La camera spaziosa con un bellissimo balcone L ambiente in generale è molto curato le aree comuni eleganti e raffinate ... Una nota particolare merita lo chef che ci ha deliziato con menù gustosi che mescolano sapientemente piatti tipici alto atesini e non. Ottimo anche il buffet della colazione dove trovi oltre a pane fatto in casa una varietà di cereali e marmellate davvero unica!

Sentralt, stille og behagelig hotell. Kjekk og fin parkering rett utenfor på baksiden av hotellet med direkte tilgang til dør og heis.

Vi savnet vannglass og vann på rommet, så vi måtte bruke tannglass av plast og betale €4,60 for en flaske vann i resepsjonen. Det burde vært inkludert tatt prisen i betraktning. Frokosten var bra, men det var trangt å bevege seg til bordet, og trangt der man skulle hente mat. Altfor lange bordduker som lå langt utover gulvet, og de man lett kunne snuble i de fordi det var trangt.

Ideale Basis für einen Wanderurlaub.

Tolle, sehr zentrale Lage. Kurze Wege zu Bushaltestelle, Seilbahn und Supermarkt, trotzdem ruhig. Die Halbpension war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Herzlichen Dank an Familie Mayr und Team für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Wir hätten uns einen Wasserkocher und Gläser/Tassen auf dem Zimmer gewünscht um einen Kaffee oder Tee kochen zu können.

Io e mia sorella abbiamo soggiornato qui una settimana! L’ hotel, a conduzione familiare, è molto bello, pulito, con un’accurata attenzione ai dettagli. La stessa attenzione che dedica la titolare (Astrid), la figlia Eva e tutto lo staff nell’accogliere e coccolare i loro ospiti. Colazione a buffet molto ricca! Cene deliziose (complimenti al marito chef)!!! Posizione ottima in centro a Castelrotto e comoda per raggiungere i vari impianti di risalita della zona. Se desiderate trascorrere una vacanza in un ambiente che vi fa sentire a casa, questa è la struttura adatta!!! Grazie di tutto, torneremo di sicuro a trovarvi! Naika e Sveva

Ankommen und sich zuhause fühlen - wir werden garantiert wiederkommen!

Familie Mayr gelingt es, eine Brücke zu schlagen zwischen dem Charme eines traditionellen Alpenhotels und modernen Elementen. Die kürzlich renovierten, großzügigen Zimmer sind sehr hell, viel Weiß und helles Holz, funktionell und durchdacht eingerichtet, und haben große Balkone. Besonders positiv fiel uns auf, dass die Bilder im Internet absolut der Realität entsprechen. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Ort, man ist mit ein paar Schritten im Zentrum, wohnt aber trotzdem sehr ruhig, und nach wenigen Metern in die andere Richtung läuft man schon über Wiesen und Feldwege mit Panoramablick. Zum Frühstück erwartete uns ein reichhaltiges Buffet, unsere Favoriten waren die täglich frisch gebackenen Kuchen und das Käsebrett. In anderen 3-Sterne-Hotels findet man warmgehaltene Rühreier und einen Kaffeeautomaten vor, hier werden auf Wunsch Rühreier frisch zubereitet, und die Kaffeewünsche ab dem zweiten Tag von den Augen abgelesen und frisch serviert. Total überrascht hat uns das Abendessen, stilvoll gedeckte Tische machten es zu einem Highlight. Tolle abwechslungsreiche Menüs mit südtirolerischen und italienischen Einflüssen. Nach einem Streifzug durch das breit gefächerte Salat- und Antipastibuffet wären wir eigentlich meist schon satt gewesen. Aber danach standen noch vier tolle Gänge an, die jeden Tag morgens auf einer handgeschriebenen Menükarte angekündigt wurden. Das hatten wir in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie keinesfalls erwartet! Familie Mayr ist mit Herzblut bei der Sache, jeder Gast wird persönlich angesprochen. Man erkundigt sich warmherzig, aber unaufdringlich nach dem Verlauf des Tages oder offenen Wünschen. Viele langjährige Stammgäste zeugen von gleichbleibender Qualität und tragen zur guten Atmosphäre bei. Das Hotel ist stilvoll, ohne übertrieben oder steif zu wirken. Auch das Serviceteam ist mit Freude und guter Laune bei der Sache. Unser Hund war herzlich willkommen, der Zimmerservice legte ihm sogar als Überraschung einen kleinen Ball zum Spielen hin.

Czystość oraz przepyszne śniadania i wyśmienite kolacje. Bardzo miła zaangażowana obsługa oraz Właściciele. Rodzinna przyjazna atmosfera. Warto dla samego jedzenia przyjechać i skosztować lokalnych specjałów na kolację. Okolice przepiękne i bardzo malownicze. Darmowy bilet na podróże autobusami i lokalnymi środkami transportu! Przystanek 50m od Hotelu. Rewelacyjne połączenia w każdą część tej części Dolomitów. Polecamy! Rewelacyjny stosunek jakości do ceny.

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage, aber keine Weiterempfehlung

Die Sauberkeit des Hotelzimmers war sehr gut, überragend war jedoch der Service und das zuvorkommende Personal. Das Abendessen war besonders gut, aber auch das Frühstück war ausreichend und für 3 Sterne gut. Zentral in Kastelruth gelegen und mit der Bushaltestelle nicht weit weg, eignete sich dieses Hotel sehr gut für einen Skiurlaub. Wir waren im Haupthaus untergebracht und haben aufgrund der Umständlichkeit die Spa-Angebote nicht wahrgenommen.

Normalerweise sind wir eher stille Nutzer von Booking und schreiben keine Bewertungen. Allerdings haben wir uns nach dem Ausfüllen eines nicht-anonymisierten Bewertungsbogens vor Ort dazu gezwungen gefühlt, jetzt hier noch etwas zu schreiben. Auf einer Skala von 0-10 haben wir das Hotel vor Ort in verschiedenen Kategorien bewertet. Unsere schlechteste Bewertung war eine 7. In unseren Augen keineswegs schlecht, aber gerade in der Kategorie „Komfort des Zimmers und Hotels“ gab es negative Auffälligkeiten wie das Bad, welches permanent nach Fäulnis oder Abfluss gerochen hat, die Baustelle vor dem Hotel (laut Booking sollte es ja ein schallgeschütztes Zimmer sein) oder das Schwimmbad, das nur zugänglich gewesen wäre, wenn ein/e MitarbeiterIn uns das Nebengebäude aufgesperrt hätte (hier auf Booking ist es auch nicht erkennbar, dass das Schwimmbecken im Nebengebäude liegt). Nach dem Ausfüllen des Bewertungsbogens wurden wir von der Leiterin des Hotels vor anderen Gästen an der Rezeption über unsere Bewertungen weniger ausgefragt als vielmehr unter Druck gesetzt, eine Rechtfertigung abzugeben. Nie zuvor haben wir es erlebt, so energisch über unsere eigentlich gute Bewertung Rechenschaft ablegen zu müssen. Entweder wurden wir dabei unterbrochen oder die Argumente unsererseits wurden abgeschmettert. Schlussendlich wurden wir ihrerseits dazu angehalten, eine bessere Bewertung auf Booking abzugeben, als von uns vor Ort angekreuzt. Wir hatten eigentlich angekreuzt das Hotel weiterempfehlen zu würden, doch dies geschieht nun definitiv nicht mehr.

Posizione strategica, ambiente raffinato ma al tempo stesso familiare, ottima la colazione dai dolci casalinghi al salato, cene deliziose. Molto ricco e vario il buffet. La camera spaziosa, tutta in legno, con vista sulle montagne. La pulizia merita un vero plauso perchè impeccabile. Staff molto professionale e garbato. Accoglienza attenta e affettuosa da parte della sig.ra Mayr che ti fa' sentire a casa tua. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Non potevamo desiderare nulla di più!
