Fairy tale!

The town is absolutely the cutest thing. The hotel is wonderful, with comfortable rooms and amenities. The breakfast is super delicious, with many options for both food and drinks, featuring local products that are the yummiest! We loved the spa area with sauna and steam. There is also an honor system bar where you can serve yourself and hang out with your companions. There is also a game room and even a guitar available for playing, which my talented son took full advantage of. We were very pleased with our stay at Cavalino D'Oro - Money well spent!

Excellent hotel in South Tyrol

This place is amazing. The building with 700 years' history, but fully renovated with all modern facilities. Warm cosy and quiet. If you travel by car, you get free parking in an underground garage within 1 minute's walk. If you need publice transport, the bus stop is right outside, and the tickets are already included in the accomodation price. It takes 10 minutes by car or by bus to get to the Alpe di Siusi cable car which takes you to the ski lifts of the Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi ski area. The city of Bolzano is in less tha 30 mintues' drive.

This hotel is so beautiful and quaint, it was literally like a dream and a big reason my boyfriend and I just fell in love with Castelrotto. Delicious, good variety included breakfast.

Beautiful, spacious, clean rooms, ideal location, prob best breakfast we had in Italy. Great at dealing with GF as well.

Having the management in a different hotel )only a few blocks away) was a bit of a hassle- Also it seems like there is an issue with running through booking.com. We thought breakfast was included but no. Sounded like it was a common misunderstanding.

Excellent location and eveything was very clean. The facilities are decorating are very nice as are the wonderful staff.

The beds and the pillows are rock hard and more support and comfort is needed in this area for the price being charged.

Amazing storybook property in the Dolomites.

Amazing, storybook property! Epic location, amazing staff, quite lovely property. This property is partnered with the Hotel Villa Kastleruth. Both properties are amazing. The hotel is contemporary and luxurious, this property is decorated in more traditional form and very quiet and why we chose this location. The lobby, sitting area and honesty bar were quiet and welcomed after a long hike. The staff -hotel and B&B- were very helpful and informative. Easy access to the lift and adjacent hiking routes. Breakfast -provided- was robust and plentiful. Finally, very accommodating for an early check in and parking was easy, close and included. We shall return and we will stay here! NOTE: pay close attention to the rooms. We booked 2 as we are a 3 person family. The single is quite small but perfect for our 20 yr old son. The double was very large and perfect for my wife and I.

We had a great stay in Castelrotto at the Cavolina d’ora. Enjoyed the lovely room with a terrace and view of mountains.

The hotel was conveniently located, has parking - which is huge plus- very clean, lovely staff and delightful breakfast.

Exceptional facility, location, service, and amenities

Very nice facility, several beautiful common sitting areas. The sauna and aroma-therapy room were really nice and relaxing after a long day on our feet. The honor bar was unexpected and really convenient with very reasonable prices. Room was large with seating and comfortable bed. The view from our room was really nice and included view of the mountains. Location was awesome, just around corner from the bus stop. Complimentary tickets for free rides on bus system running throughout the S Tryol region were unexpected and really appreciated. Staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast had a lot of options - well worth the cost. Katja was very helpful in locating items we left after checkout and assisting in options for return to us.

Really wish the sauna had longer hours of operation running later into the evening. Closing at 8 PM requires cutting hiking and activities a little short in order to take advantage of it.

Gorgeous, perfect, quaint, spectacular views and location

This B&B was a gorgeous 700 year old classic old home made into a B&B! Everything about this place was outstanding. Katerina checked us in in their other hotel down the street. Which that locations was just as beautiful! She was wonderful and absolute charm to talk to! She told us everything and more to go and see. The hostess at breakfast were just as accommodating and helping us with our next hike! Breakfast perfect with plenty to choose from. It was an honesty bar where you pay what you drink and then pay when you leave. It had everything from liquor to classic wines from that region. Our room was huge with a 4 post bed and the bathroom had a 2 person bathtub! The buses where right outside our building to travel to Bolzano or any hiking place nearby. It has a quiet room downstairs that had a sauna, shower and quiet space just to relax WOW! It also had a quiet study to play checkers or chess or just read a book. I could go on and on but the best part was we woke up to see the Dolmites right from our balcony every morning! What a beautiful site to see! Highly recommended. Hope to be back next year!

Great location, easy parking, bountiful breakfast and friendly staff. Hiking in the area was great fun. The lounge was comfortable and had snacks and refreshments offered at the “Honesty Bar”. There was also ice!

Traditional Alpine Charm - 21st Century Comfort

Beautiful and tasteful, traditional Alpine decor. An intriguing collection of paintings. So very comfortable and centrally located by the bell tower. Great breakfast and accommodating hostesses in traditional Alpine dress. It is like going back in time, with all the comforts of the 21st century.
