There's an open-plan living space with a dining area, a sitting area with a Smart TV, and a kitchen equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, and fridge with an ice box. Amenities include WiFi, fuel and power, bed linen and towels. Outside there's a veranda with furniture and a hot tub. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop in 3.6 miles, pub on-site. 24 Lakeside Drive is your perfect cabin getaway. Two well-behaved dogs allowed; please enquire with Sykes first if you wish to bring other types of pets. Shop 3.6 miles, pub on-site. Note: There are steps up to the property. Note: Strictly no barbecues. Note: Please keep dogs off the beds. Please note: This property can't accept any booking that starts or ends on a Sunday, however they may be considered upon request. NOTE: This property has an 80 GBP supplement for use of the hot tub.
The Neighborhood:
The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
