    Stayed at the joiners arms Friday 10th of July, absolutely fantastic no other words the room , food , staff , location is perfect, definitely recommend this place to stay

    This is our second visit in 2-months and it will not be our last! The entire team really go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble for them. A personal thank you to Darren & Chloe for taking care of us during our 3-night stay! Paul & Caron

    Enjoyable overnight stay in a nice location but not worth our 3 hour journey. I had expected to be able to have dinner in Newton Hall but weirdly there are no dining facilities there and the Joiners Arms struggled to cope with the demand from guests, walking and Newton Hall residents. Bar was understaffed so took some time to be served and food in bistro was underwhelming. And no viable option without driving a distance. Like the concept but afraid it falls short on a few aspects and certainly of 5 stars. Breakfast was delicious though.
