Cheap and cheerful
Good for staying over for a football game
Closer to the beach than the Stadium of Light
Very quiet, seemed like I was the only one there.

Room was spacious and clean bed was comfortable. Breakfast cook does not arrive until 0900 we tried it once but was not impressed. However just across the road is a breakfast cafe which do excellent meals and it is open from 0800 there are also several cafes on Roker Beach. The hotel is very reasonable price wise. and the location is just opposite the beach.
Breakfast times to late could do with being earlier.

Lovely large room with views over the sea just a little dated and worn out
Unfortunately the residents in the opposite room were noisy ,banging doors and arguing until 4am !
