Walk the City Centre from a Charming Flat

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely flat that was in a terrific location in Edinburgh. Lots of great restaurants around and a reasonable walking distance to old town. In spite of its urban location, the flat and building were very quiet and had lovely views of the green inner courtyard. It was the perfect space for my son and I with a very comfortable pull-out sofa, a lovely bedroom with awesome, spotless, comfy linens, a well equipped kitchen and dining space, and great hot shower. Communication with the owner was top-notch! He provided excellent directions for accessing the flat along with clear details on operating everything, from opening the windows to running the washing machine. Best handbook I have ever seen on VRBO. As the flat is in an older walk-up building, there are 2 flights of stairs to negotiate so be aware if you have lots of luggage. I just wish we had more time to stay in the beautifully appointed space. Thanks so much, Toby!

Toby's place was one of the best apartments we've stayed in, even nicer than it looks in the photos! It is extremely clean, spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. Everything was where you'd expect to find it, from coffee to board games. Toby was a wonderful host who provided very clear and accurate check-in/checkout instructions.A good night's sleep is so important to me and I was particularly happy that the bedroom is quiet and calm, and the bed is really comfortable. The flat is within easy walking distance to the old town, with lots of lovely restaurants, shops and grocery stores nearby. It is an ideal spot from which to explore Edinburgh, I really enjoyed my stay and Toby's hospitality. Thank you!
