The apartment is very central and is spacious and comfortable

Not much… I am fit and healthy so the stairs were not a problem but it may be to others.

Being on the Royal Mile was a treat. The unit was quiet at night The beds were very cozy. All expected amenities were present.

The location being 4 flights of stairs above the Royal Mile was a surprise. This fact is mentioned in the details, but it was not prominent enough that we noticed before booking. This was our first stop in a month-long Scottish vacation, and we would have made different choices had we known that we had to haul our 3 full-size suitcases up and down all those stairs. More of a nuisance however was the collection and returning the keys. The location turns out to be about two and a half blocks away from the flat in a small hotel, but for us, that required us to make sure the driver of our cab from the airport was willing to make two stops (not all will).

We loved the proximity to the Royal Mile, Grassmarket etc. It was the perfect location for us.

The location is amazing. Right on Royal Mile

Fridge didn’t work, grill didn’t work, furniture was uncomfortable and certainly not fitting with the price. Whole place needs a deal of work and renovation. Certainly only thing which qualified that price was the location. Also you have to go to a hotel to pick up the keys, there isn’t a keysafe at the property.
