Location location. Very well equipped. Good support from staff for late checkout.
A bit of an issue to sort out entry codes and keys.

We loved the location right on the Royal Mile. All the shops, pubs, restaurants, and historic sites are right there! I liked that our room was only up one flight of stairs, which is a real bonus on the Royal Mile. From our window, we could easily watch the action while we took a break. The room was small, but it provided a washer and a drying area, which was a definite bonus.
As I said, the unit is directly above the Royal Mile. That’s a huge benefit, but you also have to remember the shops, pubs, etc are right below. You do hear people out and about at all hours. There was work starting as early as 7am, so don’t plan to sleep late.

Very central location close to everything on our bucket list! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Loved having a washing machine to wash clothes during our day. The self locks were a nice touch so we never had to worry about relocking our doors as we left. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great.
I wish there was a full length mirror and more places to dry our clothes. Also a ceiling fan would be nice as we got warm during the night.
