New Town Cottage

Perfect location for us , a quirky cottage with a garden just off Heriot Row & ideal for a retreat a walk away from the old town & just a short stroll to lovely Stockbridge & along the Water of Leith to Dean Village.

Nothing as the location & quirkiness was so lovely - the bathrooms were a bit tight on space but just fine for our stay & the overall space was great

Beautiful cottage with easy access to the city with the peaceful feel of being far more rural than you actually are. Fleur was fabulous and really welcoming into her beautiful home. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage had all the amenities you could need. There was a parking space directly outside which is a real luxury when you stay in the city. Lots of lovely bespoke patisseries within a few minutes. Will be back

The location was excellent, the sheets crisp and clean, bathrooms clean and the host was very responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to keep us informed about our stay.

We found it difficult to control the heating even with the instructions so didn’t spend much time in the house. The toilets seats in both bathrooms were broken, the carpet on the stairs could either be replaced or commercially cleaned and the stair rails were sticky. Having just stayed in Europe, the cost of the accommodation in Edinburgh far exceeded the quality expected.
