New Town Cottage

Superb location

Fantastic apartment , very spacious, big kitchen, sitting room , advertised as 2 bedrooms but could have been 3, AND the most amazing aspect is a garden so if you have a dog you can let it straight out which is practically unheard of in the New Town , right in the city centre. You are close to trendy Stockbridge and a 5 minute walk to the castle and the tram. Fantastic responsive host, would recommend 110%! As a solo traveller too I felt totally safe.

Footsteps over the downstairs bedroom windows as bedrooms are downstairs.

The location was excellent, the sheets crisp and clean, bathrooms clean and the host was very responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to keep us informed about our stay.

We found it difficult to control the heating even with the instructions so didn’t spend much time in the house. The toilets seats in both bathrooms were broken, the carpet on the stairs could either be replaced or commercially cleaned and the stair rails were sticky. Having just stayed in Europe, the cost of the accommodation in Edinburgh far exceeded the quality expected.
