About this house rental

We’ve renovated an 80-year-old traditional Japanese farmhouse near Kiyotsu Gorge and turned it into an entire-house rental!! We built it almost entirely ourselves
, so please enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere—it’s like visiting your grandpa’s old house.
Since it’s an entire house rental, you can relax and enjoy a long stay with your family and friends without worrying about disturbing anyone else.

There are plenty of ski resorts nearby, so in winter you can enjoy snowboarding and skiing, and in summer, there are fireworks festivals—including Japan’s famous “Nagaoka Fireworks”—as well as the “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL (Fuji Rock).” You can also enjoy the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale year-round, and the “Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel” is a popular spot for Instagram-worthy photos. If you’d like to visit the ocean, a drive of about an hour and a half will take you to the Sea of Japan.
