Hunters Gate

広々としたリビングとダイニング、調理器具と食器も結構揃えていた。ペット用サークルまであったのは大変助かりました。寝室も清潔、快適でした。

若い方や子連れには最適ですが。2階のトイレは段差があったことや、間取りはちょっと迷路みたいなところが年寄り同行する時は家族は少し特別配慮する必要がある

男4人で行きましたが、すごく広くて、かつ開放的でプライベート感が最高でした！！ピアノやギター、卓球台まであり、音漏れもないので夜遅くまで宴会も出来ます！トイレや洗面台がたくさんあり、4-5人入れる大浴場が2ヶ所あり、コインランドリーまでありました！ 今度はもっと友達をたくさん呼んで、長期に滞在しても良いですね😃施設も整っていてすごく綺麗で、タオルも置いてありました。チェックインもIDだけメールで受け取り、誰にも会わずにスムーズに行きました。食事は戸狩温泉の焼きカレー屋さん、蕎麦屋さん、タイ料理屋さんがあります。どれも美味しいです。夜は星空が最高に綺麗です😊近くになべくら高原森の家があり、森林セラピーも受けられます！

Warm hosting

Staying at Hunter's Gate was one of the highlights of our entire time in Japan! We were a very large group of 18 people, and from the pictures we were worried it might be a little cramped, but this place is HUGE! You could easily get lost in the lodge, and there was more than enough space for everyone to be extremely comfortable. You could probably fit 80 people, but I think 20 is the maximum. Lianne and Sam have worked really hard to make Hunter's Gate an ideal place to stay for groups--ping pong tables, speaker systems, a wonderful bar/kitchen, very nice showers/baths, and even a vending machine with cold craft beer (though we didn't use it as we were a school group). We skied at Nozawa Onsen one day (which was convenient enough with taxis or rental cars if you have them), but the lodge is also ski-in/ski-out from Togari Onsen Ski Resort. Our rentals were only one day so we weren't able to take advantage of it, but next time we will definitely ski for 2 days at Togari because this lodge gives you the whole experience. Lastly, the hosts were AMAZING! From the moment we reserved Hunter's Gate, Lianne was an extremely prompt communicator and an unbelievably generous host. She and Sam helped us with almost everything you can think of--ski rentals, dinner reservations, reserving transportation, and they even shuttled us themselves a couple of times to and from the lodge. I cannot stress this enough, this section of our trip would have been a disaster without their help, we are forever grateful for their help!
