We stayed for 3 nights in a newly renovated family room, which felt modern, clean, and very comfortable. The room has a large window directly facing the ski resort, offering a beautiful view every morning. Although the toilets are shared, they are extremely clean, modern, and very comfortable to use throughout our stay. The location is excellent — the ski resort is only 1–2 minutes away on foot, making it incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with family and ski equipment. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the nearest station at a very reasonable price, so getting to and from the accommodation was easy and hassle-free. Highly recommended for anyone planning a ski trip.

One area for improvement would be the bathroom facilities. While they are clean and functional, the bathing area feels quite old and could benefit from renovation or modernization to better match the newly updated rooms.

We loved the host family and felt so well taken care of in every aspect of our stay. Everything from the fabulous unlimited espresso, green tea, cute slippers, light and airy tatami room, adorable on-site Shiba Inu. We did the sauna and cold plunge, followed by the hot baths with relaxing showers. Overall an incredible stay and would 100% recommend staying here. Hotel is one minute walk from ski rental shop, 2 minute walk to delicious ramen and at the hotel we enjoyed their sake selection and Japanese beer. The host at the front desk was so thoughtful and truly made us feel right at home. Thank you!!!!!!

Onsen on-site and not too busy. Very helpful and attentive staff. Close to the local restaurants and cafes Close to ski slopes...couldn't be closer. Coffee machine for ☕️ whenever you want it. 😁

Transport options are limited for getting to local train station or bus station. Buses are intermittent. Getting to Nozowa, if you want to go there requires some planning. Entry was a bit obscure.
