    My friends and I had an amazing experience. The staff were so kind and so helpful (google translate thank you), and patient with all our questions. They were proactive in reaching out before we arrived to check if anyone had food allergies. And the traditional Japanese breakfast - I definitely recommend; it was delicious. We came in mid-April and they happen to be offering a tour to visit cherry blossoms so that was a highlight as well! And one of the reasons I booked this ryokan was because they had a private rooftop Onsen. Definitely remember to book it when you check-in.

    We stayed at the Hotel Tsubakino in Feb for 2 nights and I would highly recommend it. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the rooms are a good size. The private rooftop onsen was one of the highlights of our trip and the meals both dinner and breakfast were a true feast!

    Great place to stay. Great location close to the train and bus terminal. If your American get the Japan/ western room. They also have a massage chair inside the room. Great traditional Japanese breakfast Good experience
