Welcoming front lobby with areas to unwind. Check-in was a breeze and we appreciated the personal tour of the building and explaining the local spots to see in the town. The washrooms are separate ladies from mens which I preferred. Large dining room, where you can bring in your own food and watch tv. There is no menu offered but it's nice to have the space. They do offer free coffee in the lobby and some drinks for nominal fee. Short walk to restaurants in town. We found underground parking a short walk away.

Carolina manages the property, and she was top notched! Greeted us warmly while providing key tailored details to make sure we enjoy our stay in Nozawaonsen with two young boys! Carolina just has that attention to details that makes you feel comfortable and home away from home. The property is cozy, and there is everything you need. The tatami room accommodated my family of 4, the shared bathrooms were impeccable, the shower room was cleaned and the furo was a very convenient addition! On top of that, there are hot water dispensers and coffee/tea available, plus a dining room area to sit down and eat whichever meals you bring home. There are two fridges for guests to use with labelling materials, microwave and toaster oven, plates, silverware, cups, bowls, you name it! We also took advantage of the washer/dryer and the "ski room" to dry our stuff.

There was no breakfast available at this property this winter season, which I was completely aware of, and it forced us to go explore outside options. An inconvenience that actually turned into a fun treasure hunt each day! It also made the dining room never crowded, or empty! Carolina also provided tips on where to go.

Position,price,helpful English speaking staff and very clean.

Proximity to town and value for money.

The staff were generally friendly depending on whom you deal with (some are super friendly, others were so so). Decent location near the coach stop, but not near the ski lifts area.

The room was quite small with small window. Walking up and down the hill to the ski lift can be challenging with heavy snow.
