Akiko is a superhost with limited English but looks after her guests. The rooms are spacious however sleeping on futons is tough after a week. House Onsen is wonderful after a day skiing and close to walk into main village.
Floor sleeping - we knew this would be the case but my hips are feeling it.

Good central location in the village, lovely host with a caring nature. The complimentary apples were beautiful and the onsens in the bathrooms were great.
All was good, but I would just like 1 chair in the room to make thinks a little more comfortable and easier to get dressed etc.

Comfortable traditional lodge style accomodation close to Akari Bakery and Nakao no Yu onsen. The hot tub on site was a bonus The host was super helpful. I would stay again :)

As breakfast was not a part of our stay, it would have been great to have access to bowls and utensils so we could have our own breakfast in the morning. But this is only a minor note. We were very happy otherwise.
