The staff were so wonderful and the location was perfect. It’s an older hotel/building and hasn’t seen any updates in decades if I had to guess, but we liked the vibe. Breakfast every morning was wonderful too! The on site onsen was also lovely and a perfect place to learn before we headed out to the nearby public bath houses.
The sleeping pads are very thin so for a full sized adult it was a bit tough on the back and hips, even doubling up. The comforters were down and cozy but do look a little on the old side.

Staff were excellent, facilities excellent, rooms are massive! Breakfast was top notch, changed slightly everyday.
