Shiga Ichii Hotel

Location near chairlifts and convenience store, buffet breakfast, private bathroom with bidet and mini fridge was great! The discount for hotel guests at the burger joint Sessions was awesome too! Delicious melt in your mouth burgers!

The heater in the drying area was not turned on one night and boots were still wet the next morning. The shower drainage was working normally until 3 days later when water started to overflow out of the drainage grill right outside the bathtub. Not sure if it's a bad design or just faulty. Had to physically dry the bathroom floor with the floormat despite never filling it up with water over the 7 nights of stay. The bidet was working until the very last day when it wouldn't turn on, but since it was the last day, all sweet!

All-round excellent base for skiing access and local restaurants. 5 min walk to the nearest lift and in the center of all the Ichinose hotels. Bus stop right outside. Excellent facilities - pre and post luggage storage, ski locker room easy access, downstairs bar is excellent (get in early!). Clean Onsen. I booked a traditional room with Futon bedding, very warm and comfy after tough days out on the slopes! Great gift shop downstairs although it doesn’t sell convenience foods.

Nothing! I was told by my transport that it wouldn’t be dropping me off in Ichinose and I would need to find my own way there. I asked the hotel via booking.com messaging if they had/knew of a shuttle service or which bus to catch from Yamanouchi. No reply. Resigned myself to seeing what happened on the day. Luckily the bus company (Nagano Snow Shuttle) DID in fact drive through Ichinose. Make sure you confirm this with the shuttle to save any stress!

Good location with friendly helpful staff. Sessions Bar at the entrance was lively.

Room carpet could have done with a good clean. We waited till late for our shower on first night and there was no hot water. Beds were ok but not great. We opted at the last minute to book the buffet dinner. This was not a good thing. Whilst plenty of variety the food was of poor quality and luke warm. Eating out at the Taco bar down the road or having a big lunch on the mountain was a better proposition.

廊下に分別ゴミ捨ての入れ物が置いてあったが、生ものなどの臭いが廊下に漂っている。せめてフタ付きのもにしたらどう？ レストランでのバイキングで、食事を盛るプレートを一人一皿って言われた。 学生の合宿と一般客を同列に扱っているのでは？
