Relax Inn - Thorpe Lodge Hotel

The kitchenette was a good feature to have. Location is okay if you need accommodation within walking distance from the train station.

The access to the hotel didn't work and we had to call the 24/7 helpline to get the code to get in. The room is quite small and I wouldn't call it a double bed. It was narrow. The kitchenette is badly equipped without a sharp knife and no tea towel. The mattress was too soft as well.

Great location free parking. Room was clean comfortable and well equipped. Love the kitchen’s facilities and the option to order breakfast

Getting into the property as no staff onsite. The keypad to access was a digital screen with no obvious numbers. Despite pressing it a few times I was unable to access. Just as I was ringing customer service another resident came and let me in. He said he’d struggled with it too. As a single woman traveller I felt a little vulnerable. If I’d arrived late at night with bad weather there’s nowhere to shelter while you’re trying to get in. The keypad instructions need amending. Also the timer on the hallway light is not long enough to get up the stairs before it goes off.

The location was perfect

Absolutely nothing

Location great No breakfast

Ants everywhere in the room and the bathroom
