Excellent location for where we needed to be. Nice clean room and helpful staff.

I am coeliac and lactose intolerant and wondered whether there would be anything I could eat for breakfast. At entrance to restaurant area we were greeted by a pleasant young lady called Joyti who took note of my dietary requirements, told me what I could have from the buffet and then proceeded to bring me both black coffee and gluten free toast from the kitchen. Excellent service.

Great place to stay

Staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. The local is great. It's close to the Peterborough Cathedral, the museum and the shops. There is a nature reserve nearby and you can walk there. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room are great. And the good is fabulous!

I didn't go in the jacuzzi because the water looked as if it needed changing, but I saw someone taking samples so I think that they are really keeping an eye on it.

From the welcoming staff to the lovely note in our room this hotel is such a delight. The food, breakfast lunch and evening meal were all really good. We had a lovely, large relaxing room but the foyer also has areas that you can chill out in.

The price of drinks are very expensive but I expected that in a hotel, there is a pub within a 10 minute walk if that bothers you. The gym and swimming pool are very small and get busy quickly. When I tried to have a swim at 0645 in a Monday morning it was full and I gave up.

Cold rooms. Poor windows, draughty and I’ll fitting. Heating not working and seemingly limited to a cut off time! No heating overnight or in the morning. Noisy. Uncomfortable beds/ mattress. Overall not an enjoyable stay .

Exceptional facilities, staff and value for money

Everything was clean, the restaurant was delicious, the pool was/ spa was lovely too. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly which really makes a difference! Kids eat free was a lovely touch too!

Comfortable 1 night stay, great value

Lots of parking upon arrival, staff were really friendly & our room was ready early. Comfortable stay, room included iron/ironing board, tea/coffee etc. Nice indoor pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi; also a gym. We didn’t have breakfast but had a drink in the nice bar area. Very good value for money.

Excellent breakfast and lovely staff but a few things let it down

The reception staff were lovely, parking very easy and convenient, location ideal for Peterborough, breakfast amazing - the only hotel where I've not needed to order veggie sausages in advance, they were already out. Hotel clean and modern.

I had to tell the bartender whether Shiraz wine was white or red, then he couldn't find it. He offered me house red which I accepted for ease, then he charged me nearly £10 for awful vinegar wine. The pillows were like sleeping on rocks. The radiators clicked and banged all night. The shower was a trickle but it blasted out of the main bath tap when switching over.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Peterborough West. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were very quick, and the receptionist was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which made a great first impression. Our room was spotless, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. We especially appreciated the small bar available in the room, which was a nice extra touch. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with plenty of choice and great quality. The swimming pool and saunas were clean and well maintained. They were quite busy at times, but still enjoyable. Overall, this is a really lovely hotel with excellent service and facilities. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with overwhelming choice of food. Alison and Vlad were very hospitable when serving breakfast.

Room and corridors were tired looking especially the bathroom , pillows hard and lumpy. Air con grill was loose and coming away from the wall. Telephone socket underneath desk was lost and hanging partly off.

Leisure facilities excellent as was the food and bar services. Staff were also excellent and catered to all of our needs. Breakfast was fabulous.

Our room was directly over the hotel entrance, and there was noise from guests outside until the early hours. We found the beds too hard for our comfort.

Ideal conference centre venue with good rooms and leisure facilities.

Room and Leisure club facilities very good. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast good and well stocked. Conference suite was well appointed with good sound system

Main bar area is not big enough for the number of guests that could potentially use it. Guests were spilling in to Reception and the breakfast area. Ensuite needed maintenance. The flush lever did not work well and the flush took ages to fill.

Probably one of the best Holiday Inns we have stayed in.

Excellent Staff, helpful and attentive, from Reception to Bar Staff very good. Late night food available, nice lounge area. Plenty of parking. EV Charger on site. For a Holiday Inn, one of the best breakfasts we have had, plenty of choice from buffet to cooked items, including pancakes and maple syrup. Staff also dealt with what could have been an ugly incident in the bar, with great skill and diplomacy.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, there were 4 couples, but unfortunately there were no vacancies for them for one night. I liked everything, the comfort, we really enjoyed the pool. A good experience.

Does the job for a short stay. Good value for money. Clean, spacious rooms. Great pool & gym facilities. Diverse menu at the restaurant for dinner. Short drive to Peterborough town. We are IHG members so also got a 12.00 checkout which was helpful with a little one.

The corridor can be very noisy with guests coming and going. The room doors don't block out much noise so were woken up a few times by people walking/shouting up and down the corridor.

Breakfast and staff were good but stay totally spoiled by lack of hot water.

Breakfast was excellent.

There was no hot water either in the evening or next morning and the room was cold. Therefore it was unpleasant preparing for the party we were going to and even more unpleasant discovering that there still wasn't any hot water to shower next morning
