Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough

Well maintained and very clean. Located a little farther from the city but a very peaceful and pleasant area. Rooms are very spacious and they have a nice pool. Lots of parking spots available.

We both slept so so well… very comfortable and quiet.

The Restaurant isn’t really restaurant vibe. The food is tasty but it’s not somewhere to get dressed up and feel like a “meal out” sort of a place. If you want a sauce it’s given to you in a sachet.. we ordered a bottle of wine on our first night there and the waitress came back and said “we needed a corkscrew to open it”, we said we’d like to drink it with our meal and she went back to get it opened. The bar says it closes at 11pm but you’ll feel like it’s shutting down about 9:30pm as the bar staff starts clearing the candles away even if you’re sat at the table. I thought this was rude, fair enough at 10:30/10:45 but not with an hour and a half of opening hours left and that was a Saturday night with a fair amount of people still there. Friday night we were asked for last orders at 10:30! So the bar staff at a bit of a joke and make you feel like you’ve got to go.

Location, clean hotel, pleasant staff, beautiful design of swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Food consumed by those using room service left in corridor for over 24 hours. Terrible food hygiene specifically with the scrambled egg served at breakfast on 17/08/2026…….which had putrefied with a very offensive smell.

The bed was comfy

It wasn’t clean, noticed a stain on the bedframe. The TV chrome cast wasn’t working could only cast youtube even though we phoned ahead and asked this. If you order food they can’t keep it for you either which is annoying g since you’re in the middle of nowhere essentially
