陽台相通，想打開落地窗，會擔心安全問題。有幾間房是木頭和拉門隔間，人多時，隔音效果可能不佳。

箱根宿燕帰 (Hakone-shuku Enki) is located around the Gora area of Hakone and is situated in the quiet street. There is a 7-11 that is around the area and the host/housekeeper also provide you with a physcial map showing the ammenities nearby. You alsp get your own set of toiletries and towels as well.For the price, while there isn't any onsen baths, you get spotless facilities, such as a shared kitchen that is fully equipped with microwave/stove/etc,, a bathtub with showering facilities, 2 toilets and a washing machine. The inn is beautifully decorated, with a touch of Japanese heritage and I really like how zen it feels.Most importantly, the housekeeper/owner is a really sweeet lady. While I did not managed to catch her during my check-in, she left a welcoming message in a physically written note. I was able to catch her during my checkout day and it is a really kind lady who is respectful and genuinely wants her guests to have a comfortable stay. For the price, this was an exceptional stay. Thank you for the hospitality!

While these were not an issue for my as I was travelling solo and backpacking, if you use google maps to navigate, you will need to pass through a pretty steep incline and steps for around 5 - 7 mins to get to/fro to Gora Station, to the other side of the river, so it might not be the most accessible for walking for people who are carrying large suitcases. Also for light sleeper, the walls are on the thinner side. This is more like a shared inn/guesthouse so the common facilities are shared among all the guests.

I was offered free coffee, though I didn't try any. Location was convenient although it was on a hill that might be difficult for some to walk up. Free parking!

My room was connected to another room with a small gap in the door you can see through. This door was also unlocked. Luckily no one was staying there at the time. The balcony was connected to other rooms on the same floor. Privacy is limited. The bathroom is shared with others in the building.
