Lovely traditional holiday home in a very convenient location near Gora station -perfect for making use of Hakone Free Pass. House was well equipped , good quality tatami meant a good sleep and air conditioning worked well. Overall a great experience one I would strongly recommend.
If I had to be picky I would say don't expect a new pristine condition - the house has character and is clearly not new. The floors in some areas flex and bend made me worry I was going to break something so maybe not a place for the very heavy !

The accommodation is a traditional Japanese style house, decorated with Ghibli characters. My daughter is a fan of Totoro, and she was extremely happy with our stay. The place is well located near the Gora station and has a small supermarket nearby.

9人で行っても広かった。古民家、田舎のおばあちゃんちって感じでよかった。水回り綺麗でびっくりした。
駐車場から宿までの道のりの説明がよくわからなかった。
冷蔵庫が少し冷えにくかった。
