Apartment Playa Patacona by Interhome

Very good location and close proximity to the beach. Nice view from the top floor of the block of flats and terrace. Nice area and quiet for the May-June period. Good size and could accommodate easily up to 6 persons.

Sewage/drains smell inside the flat quite often, especially when first entering the flat and needed constant ventilation through windows. Not very clean all around. Poor sleeping/guest beds, mattresses and pillows, which can be frustrating and tiring during an almost two-weeks holiday. Old appliances and especially a fridge which would barely hold its door closed. As it is, would definitely need improvements in accommodating families or friends that would book it for longer periods of time and that would want to focus more on home-cooking rather than eating in restaurants.

Perfect location across from beach in the beach area of Valencia. Private rooftop terrace.

1. Our contact ghosted us after day 1, when we texted about possibly getting more towels and perhaps a decent pillow for each bed. There were 5 old pillows with only one available on the big ensuite double bed. Interhome, who manages the property, was wonderful in resolving the first issue, as we had no way of knowing how we would get our deposit back and where to leave the key. 2. A trip to the supermarket on Day 2, to purchase everything that should have been provided..(hand soap in bathrooms, dish soap, tea towels, kitchen sponge/cleanup cloths, a box of tissues. Two of us own and rent out properties in our home country and we know the bare expectations of a decent welcoming holiday rental. 3. The furniture on the amazing private rooftop terrace was appalling and one of us fell through a broken lounger.
