Great location to sites. Very busy noisy area. Needs some additions
Rooms very big but very sparse in comforts. Each room had a queen bed. No dresser with draws. They had a simple bar to hang clothes. So, you will be living out of your luggage for the entire stay. Location is 14-minute walk to Duomo. Train station out from of door. Two bathrooms are modern with very good showers and water pressure. Only hand washing soap provided. Kitchen modern new but the host did not leave any goodies (coffee, fruit, etc.) The stuff that makes you get a 10/10 rating. Terrace faces internal court area was nice but narrow. Good AC in bedrooms and kitchen.
No living room. No washer dryer. Towels were poor. Thin and rough feel. Not enough provided for a week longs stay. They fact they did not provide a washer dryer even though they have an area setup ready for a washer dryer to be installed. This is a miss because when you are away for four days or more using a towel which never dries over and over is gross. So, they should provide more towels or install a washer dryer for this high price. Biggest Negative! Its location is right in the middle of section where your surrounded by restaurants and shops which stay open to 2-3 AM. If you like noise at night (cars, people chatter, garbage cans getting dragged, garbage trucks) there is an unending supply. In the court yard near the terrace and one of the bedrooms the restaurant below dumps bottles all day and night make clanging sounds. Since the apartment is on the 2nd floor you will hear the noise all the time. Good luck getting a full night sleep because at 6 AM garbage men come and retrieve the full garbage cans multiple times a week. The process to enter the building is very different from many rentals. On the outer door street level, you have hit a combination of buttons on the adjacent wall and use a cell phone app. The internal door also had a call phone app to open and close the door. Not worth the $600 price per night.
