Easy to access the centre by tram
The room is very dated, the light fitting needs to be changed, the spare mattresses were stained, the bed itself was ok as I checked. The kettle had no lid and was the wrong type of plug for the socket (too big) The bathroom is small but adequate, again very dated. Considering the reviews I read a few days before we went I was expecting to have to leave and find somewhere else but it was clean unlike some of the reviews I had read.

RUN, don’t walk, away from this listing.
- Good, central location. Easily accessible by tram and walk to the city centre. Grocery stores nearby. - Ora (the best pizza shop in Zurich) is right below the apartment
- Poor communication from host. Gave us mixed information about where to collect the keys. Took us 30 mins to get in and this was at night. Also, REFUSED accountability when we complained about the sanitation of the apartment - MUCH smaller than in pictures - Bed has blankets that made me itch when I slept - Floor was damaged - Futon had disgusting stains on it. The supplementary duvets were unhygienic and made my skin itch - Appliances were faulty. Kettle lid was missing; WiFi was intermittent and broken - Limited plug sockets - TOILET SEAT’S COVER WAS PEELING. Read that again THE TOILET SEAT WAS PEELING. We squared the entire time we were there - Poor shower curtain protection, so bathroom floor easily drowned - By putting the heater on, it brought out a foul mouldy smell from the apartment - Ceilings walls are thin so you can hear upstairs neighbours

Wifi didn't work (it isn't a real wifi point but a cheap device with a SiM card). The building is being renewed and repainted->noises and strong chemical smell. Cleaning was not great and the kitchen and toilet have seen better times.
