I’d highly recommend this place. Location is close to the train station, dining, & grocery stores. Apartment was quiet, clean. & safe. Comfy bed & good size shower.

The worst ever accomodation I have ever stayed in my entire life. The room was smelly, the bathroom full of mould, the shower head was taped with scotchtape, the kettle looks so disgusting. Room has no aircon, no safe box and no hair dryer. To top it all, the rude welcome from the person answering the call name Jerome Huber. I have to call international to get the info about the code to receive the key as I did not receive the email, while he insist on telling me he did send prior to. Instrad of appologize or just simply tell he will re send the info nicely, he threatened me to hang up the phone if I insist on saying that I did not receive the email. And He hang up the phone on me. The worst ever!!!! Never ever stay in this Swiss Star Oerlikom Lodge or their group anymore.

The only good thing was that the bed was clean, but everything else was pretty gross. The bathrooms weren't clean and the door with the toilet had broken glass in it with cardboard covering the front, but there were big shards that looked like they'd fall off the back any minute. The walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING in every other room. They sent us a confirmation code that didn't work, and I had to spend 35 cents a minute to call them, wait through their automated message, and then the guy ends up giving us a different code altogether to get our key from the box. I could see how that would be a problem for other travellers who might not have a phone to contact them because there's no one there at the site to help you. Considering it was almost $90/night for a double bed and it's not even a hostel made us pretty disappointed in the whole experience. We will definitely not be staying in any Swiss Star properties in the future.

Very spacious and convenient location. More than enough space. Beds were comfortable. Generally quite clean. The shower on the lower level could have used a good bleaching and it would have been nice to have a hairdryer. The kitchen was very minimally stocked. No dishwasher detergent- no salt or pepper and only one sponge and drying towel. Not a big deal for our short stay but would be an issue with a longer stay. And otherwise, just could have used some homey touches here and there to fill the space. None of these things would keep me from staying there again. It was a great price for the location and amount of space. Check in went smooth for the most part. I did have one question but was able to reach the answer with a quick phone call to the assistance number. Also, door to our unit was a bit of a challenge to unlock- took some pulling and wriggling. All in all, a fine experience- great for what we needed this time around. We would stay there again. Zurich is great! Would have loved more than a few hours to explore!

excellent location but the only problem was the picture of the room on expedia wasn't the same room that we ended up with. The studio was much too small. Great value for the money, clean, plenty of hot water ( very important to us ) , great location. Overall a very nice experience.

Nice apartment with cheap rental. Large 2 rooms with kitchen facilities. 2 private bathrooms. The only downside is the heater. Not enough to cover a large property and not working properly. It would be a perfect place to stay during winter for 4-5 people.
