Super conveniently located within a few mins walk from the train station. There are many grocery stores within 10min walk. Check-in was super easy and the room was very well organized.

Bring your own, cook your own food, which wont be for everyone but beautiful hotel in a great location just 5 minutes or so walk from the railway station. When we arrived the staff, particularly Jennifer, went above and beyond to help us book in welcome us and explain everything we needed to know. Great beds, great ambiance and do not miss the view from the fabulous roof terrace. Would absolutely book again if visiting Bern

This is, without a doubt, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. This hotel operates a 100% self-check-in system; however, the self-check-in system did not work. So I sent a message to the hotel, but no one responded via phone call or text. I had to use the intercom to reach a receptionist wearing glasses around 6:00 pm on August 25th. She told me that the hotel could not send the booking number to customers like me since I had booked through Agoda.
When I suggested it would be much more convenient for the hotel to notify guests in advance—through Agoda or any other means—she insisted that, for reasons she did not know, the hotel could not send messages via Agoda. Considering the hotel has numerous reviews and bookings on Agoda, I found this explanation hard to believe. Even if Agoda messaging doesn’t work, the hotel could have sent the booking code by email. It was clearly a poor excuse.
She then blamed me for booking through Agoda rather than the hotel’s website and asked if I wanted to cancel my reservation. At that point, I was understandably frustrated by her shameless and rude attitude and told her, "I do not like your attitude". She audaciously replied, “You are not very nice.”
A hotel that cannot provide a booking code in a 100% self-check-in system and instead blames the customer is completely unacceptable. This receptionist clearly needs to learn proper communication skills.
