Compact, but lots of charm! Great shower, separate toilet, with sink in the bedroom area. Also desk and seating area. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - slept brilliantly well. Key on app or phone, but you can also get a key card if you prefer.

Amazing location. Staff were great and friendly. Coffee machine downstairs was a good touch. Rooms were cleaned everyday and had all basic amenities. Rooftop terrace was awesome! Would've been nice if the rooms also had their own kettle/coffee machine area.

everything is smart in this hotel. after online check in, I could use my phone as a key to open the gate and the door of my room. the public area is beautiful with a huge kitchen. the rooftop is nice and I could enjoy myself with a drink. it is at the centre of the city so it is convenient but a bit noisy at night at there are some restaurants and bars down below.

Very clean and nice room, common area is excellent to meet up with friends on other floor. Very safe and easy to check in.

My son loved this place for the common areas and games room. The room itself was very much like a hostel or dorm room- not what we were expecting for the price. Basically a bed, sofa bed and an all in one bathroom (no separate shower so water just floods the whole thing). No amenities in the room, no tv but the common area have everything. Seems like a great place for young travellers. The location is excellent though. No staff on site and the keys were an app which didn’t work well at all- not my favorite.

Convenient location and easy self-check in.

Would highly recommend, 5 min. walk from train station, with plenty of dinning options to chose from.

I didn’t do online check in right and it screwed rest of stay. No orientation on arrival everything was supposed to be online. Didn’t find room lamp for 2 days. Didn’t know you could use refrigerator. Had to keep hand on hair dryer or it fell out of socket. No sheet or linen change on my short stay so I was suriwhen I was woken during nap asking if I wanted room clean.

Very tiny room. There was no bathroom: the water closet had the toilet, a sink was in the main room, and shower was accessed from the desk area, hence when exiting the shower you stood next to the desk. The only chair in the room was the desk chair, and there is no tv in the room.There is barely enough room to get around the bed. Finding space for the suitcases was challenging. The room is best suited for a single person. The check in process is on-line, so if your phone doesn’t work, it’s challenging.

Great location, easy check-in, nice and relaxed common area. Comfortable room with a good shower. Free coffee is a really nice touch

Great hotel with perfect location in Bern. Spacious rooms and rooftop with amazing views of city and Alps. Close to grocery, Coop food hall, and tons of restaurants. Common area with kitchen and complementary espresso machine. Host downstairs if needed.

I loved the community spaces and facilities, especially the roof top terrace. The room was efficient and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was apparent that everyone was happy to be there.

Top Hotel!

The perfect hotel on a budget! This place has hostel vibes in the best possible way. The rooms are small but incredibly clean, modern, and pretty. The bedding was fluffy and so comfortable, and the shower was hands down my favorite of our entire Europe trip. While there isn’t a fridge in the room, there’s a great common area with a kitchen and coffee/tea machines where you can prepare food. There are also lots of cozy sitting areas that make it easy to enjoy takeout or grocery store meals. The location is fantastic—just an easy 8–10 minute walk from the train station, right in the beautiful old city of Bern. We were able to walk to all the major old city sights within 3–4 hours. On top of that, the shopping options in this area are endless—the best we experienced anywhere in Switzerland. There are also countless restaurants nearby and an immense selection of grocery stores, making it incredibly convenient for any type of traveler. Our particular room was one of the few that looked directly out onto a cement wall. We mentioned this to the host, who kindly invited us to meet in the common area (likely to try to switch our room), but since we were only there briefly and had already gone out exploring, we didn’t follow up. Even so, we really appreciated that the host was open to feedback. And in the end, that room did have the upside of extra privacy and quiet compared to others. Great location and excellent staff. The reception staff were super friendly and kind . Breakfast was amazing with great service and wide variety of options .mist attractions were within a 15 min walking radius. Room was relatively expensive but it is a boutique hotel .

Perfect

I really enjoyed the cooking facilities and lounge area on the first floor. As my room as small it was a good place to relax when I wasn't out and about. I was a little apprehensive about the digital keys on the app at first but it worked very well. I was very pleased to be able to access my room early as it was available and to be able to leave my luggage and continue to use the communal areas for 7 hours between check out for the room and 6pm. Much appreciated as my train was at 4pm. Room was very quiet despite both the hotel and the area being busy. Lovely place to stay. It is also a really convenient 3 mins walk from the station - once you get out of the labarynthine station complex.

Great place. Quirky yet comfortable rooms in a central location. I liked the the serviced communal areas on the first floor for preparing own food, gave it a youth hostel type feel. The presence of the helpful friendly hosts added to the charm of the place. The roof terrace with views of the mountains and the city were a favourite place to bring breakfast and start the day. Superb stay, glad we hadn't chosen anywhere else!

The room is cozy but small, very convenient location with shops, grocery stores, transportation and main attractions. Guest cards are excellent so you can save some money moving around town. Anicca is such an amazing host. There is a kitchen that can be used in the main lobby with coffee machine, tea, and microwave. Terrace has an amazing view from the city. Online check-in was easy and convenient and hotel keys were on the app for easy access to the facility. I would recommend this hotel.

The apartment like concept with the shared kitchen and lounge space is a wonderful and the staff was delightful!

The online check-in was fine, but accessing the doors using the online page was not the best option. You have to connect to the free Wifi first, otherwise you might need to pay for internet connection (Switzerland doesn't adhere to the EU roaming as other countries in Europe). Opening the external doors with the phone was not an issue, but the room wasn't as smooth, it always took us few tries before it worked. A bit annoying, but not a deal breaker. The room is really small, so everything is tight, but it has everything you need and it's well kept and very clean. The common area has free tea and coffee. The wifi works well. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the town, walkable distance from the train station.

Great Hotel. We enjoyed our stay and were impressed by the layout of the room. The location is perfect for seeing all the places of interest in Bern.
