Amazing location with awesome rooftop bar.

Facility was okay. Front desk staff were not friendly and welcoming.

Very nice hotel with a great staff. The room is large and very clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient to all sites.

Toilet/shower area lacks privacy, but otherwise a beautiful room. Hotel is in a perfect location.

The rooms were clean but very small — you walk in and the bed is right there. Our window didn’t face the street but an inner courtyard directly across from neighbors’ windows, which made it feel closed in and lacking privacy. Check-in was slow, and breakfast was not as good as we remembered. By the time you arrive (especially after tour groups), the buffet often looks picked over. The worst part of the stay was the service at breakfast. One older blonde waitress in particular made the experience unpleasant. She loudly says “GUTEN MORGEN” at every guest as they enter, then chases after people for their room number. I understand she has to check, but her delivery is very aggressive and overwhelming for the morning. She also scolded us when we accidentally walked towards a reserved table (we simply didn’t see the sign), and when she started explaining how the breakfast worked, we told her politely that we already knew since we’d been there the day before. She seemed annoyed, and the next morning, when we came in again, she mocked us by repeating verbatim what my mom had said the day before — “but you know already because you were here yesterday.” It came across as petty and unprofessional. Between the tiny rooms, slow check-in, disappointing breakfast, and the unfriendly service, the stay was underwhelming.

This hotel exceeded our expectation--a spacious room, very nice bathroom, a comfy bed. The view from the rooftop bar is also a special experience.

A great location and nice clean room. Lots of shops and restaurants and sights within easy walking distance. Great gym for use through an agreement with the hotel around the corner. My only disappointment was I arrived on a Sunday and the hotel restaurant and rooftop bar which looks like fun was closed on Sundays.

Perfect location for touring 8 minute walk to the train station 3 minutes to the bus stop. Helpful staff comfortable stay.

This place had air conditioning which in Switzerland is rare. During their summer heatwave we felt comfortable here

My husband and I had a great stay in Best Western Plus Hotel Bern. Everything was great- clean room, bathroom was roomy, plenty of closet space, central location and the staff was awesome. We also enjoyed the morning breakfast. The hotel has a roof bar with beautiful Mountain Views.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. It is close to everything. The most important thing was the room has AC which is not every hotel has in Bern.

Parking is three blocks away and the AC is a joke!! It barely works and with the humid weather, that’s not going to work! See other locations that have good working AC and parking that really works!

This hotel is both conveniently and inconveniently located-- it is very close to shopping and restaurants, but also very difficult to get to (with no on-site parking and many closed streets). Our "views" were of the other hotel rooms directly across, about 5 meters away. However, the rooms were clean and fairly comfortable. Very overpriced (but all hotels in Bern are).
