NOT as advertised. NOT recommended!

The living/dining room is nice. That's why almost all the pictures in the listing are of this room. The location is convenient to a metro station, shopping, and restaurants. BUT...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS APARTMENT. This place was not livable, and NOT as advertised in the pictures. The picture shows curtains in the bedroom; there are only cheap slatted blinds that aren't large enough for the window and won't keep out light. The toilet seat was broken. The large refrigerator was out of order and a small one was brought in. The kitchen and the dining table are at opposite ends of the apartment. There was scaffolding outside all the windows, so workers could see inside during the day. The place appears to be inhabited by someone who only leaves when it's rented; the cupboards and freezer contained their food. The building is old and run-down. The hallways are narrow, dark, and foreboding. The ancient lift is the tiniest lift I have ever seen (barely fits two people) and doesn't have a door! Aside from the living room, this place is depressing and cheap. We left and found someplace else. We requested a refund from the host since there were obvious discrepancies between the listing photos and the actual place, but we have heard nothing from him. DO NOT STAY AT THIS APARTMENT.

The location was great — just 100 meters from Poleart and close to Metro Louis and tram lines. The apartment is on the third floor, and even though the windows face a lively street with restaurants, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The apartment itself is cozy, with one bedroom, a small bathroom, and a compact kitchen. The highlight is definitely the living room — spacious and beautifully set up. It was a delightful stay and worth the money.

As the apartment is newly listed on Booking, it’s understandable that it still needs some improvements to better accommodate guests. A deep cleaning is needed, along with some repairs to furniture and better organization, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. We also would have appreciated having a light bedsheet, as there was only a heavy winter duvet, which was too warm for summer.
